This is generic. I don’t really like country music to begin with, but I tried what if’s and it was laughable. The deep vocals contrasting the high vocals, the southern drawl that everyone loves to impersonate, THE BANJO. OML, the banjo. Just was generic and boring. Me and my fiance heard him on the radio and was mind blown, and just had to get the CD. What Ifs is a great song!

The music fits in with the rest of popcountry radio so I guess it hit the mark with what he was going for, however, on an artistic level this is unoriginal pop country that sound like songs we have all heard a billion times before. I get he’s not a real country artist but at least be more original.
