Dancing Queen is the twenty-sixth studio album by American singer and actress Cher, released by Warner Bros. Records on September 28, 2018. It is Cher's first album in five years, following Closer to the Truth (2013). The album contains cover versions of songs recorded by Swedish pop group ABBA, with the title referencing their 1976 song "Dancing Queen". The album follows Cher's appearance in the 2018 musical film Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, based on the music of ABBA.

What’s not to love about this album? Cher sounds great (and happy). ABBA’s songs are kept intact, only zhuzhed when necessary to be more Cher-like. This year has been such a downer for so many people - this album is just here to get people smilin’ and singing. So glad it’s a hit. Personal Faves: SOS, Gimme, Waterloo, and One of Us.
I love Cher and always have. What the hell is this mess? Her singing isn’t very good on this. It sounds like a karaoke performance of each track. Awful.
What more can you ask for? ABBA + Cher = Pop Heaven! P.S: ONE OF US goes off! What an INCREDIBLE ballad!
Love seeing a 90-year-old woman in a garter belt. Who dug her up
I wounldn't wate my time on anything from this liberal piece of trash.
I really love her versions of ABBA songs-SOS is the best,
Cher is the BEST
LOVE LOVE THIS CD. SHE SOUND SO GOOD.
Her voice singing these songs from the 70s is right in her nostalgic sweet spot combined with the modern flare reminiscent of her “Believe” era makes for a supreme and long-awaited Cher album.
The title song lacks...I dunno?...joy? Passion? Its just not there. Maybe DQ is just for Abba to sing...and no one else. The rest though...especially SOS and Chiquitita....Cher totally OWNS them. A fun, mindless album...frankly just what I needed this (horrible) week.
This album is perfection. That’s it.
OMG .....Amazing album!!!!
Cher was definitely trying too hard with this project. Leave the classics alone. Try some new material.
I love Cher and I thought this was gonna be a new album, it’s all abba songs remade by Cher, no thanks I already lived through these songs in the 70’s don’t wanna re live them, I’m so depressed 👎
Cher sounds fantastic! Love every track!
Cher is amazing and so is Mamma Mia. I love it!!!
Beautifully sung and infectiously fun. Love the variations on some tunes and there’s not a bad track. Just wish she’d done ‘knowing me knowing you’ and ‘lay all your love on me’. Maybe on the deluxe edition. Brava Cher!!
I’m sorry but her voice just doesn’t fits well with Abba music.
