I gave this album a listen as a favor to my daughter. I know some people will be skewed by that explicit tag. However, if you read/listen to the lyrics, you should understand where Justin is coming from. His fame and fortune (“sh**”) brought him nothing but loneliness and emptiness. To him, his past was “sh**”. Jesus has given him a new perspective...freedom from that past. I hope he keeps walking the walk. I didn’t hear anything on this album in contradiction to Scripture. You, too, can be free from your past...John 3:16.

Well it’s not a bad album but Justin seriously dropping the sugar honey ice tea word in your song twice does not make this a full gospel album. i’m sorry i love you but you need to put this album under a different genre. 😕 this album is going to get him in trouble, i understand what he was going for but you messed up once you used a cuss word. there are plenty of other words you could have used that wasn’t a cuss word and the album would have been great. i only liked one song on the whole album.

Like my others have said: 1st of all, you don’t label an album “gospel” and then curse. He’s not even a true Christian. 2nd, he needs to retire. His music isn’t as good as it used to be anymore.

Wow look at all of the judgement being passed on here. No one is perfect and using a curse word does not mean that you aren’t a Christian or that you don’t believe in God. If using curse words carries that meaning then you judging him this way also means the same for you. Take a good look in the mirror. Great music. Lyrics that challenge my life! Authentic vibe. An artist choosing the “Road less traveled.” Much harder to do than simply making music to please the masses. Nonetheless, the music is awesome.
