To anyone whining that “all her songs sound the same”, that’s how it is for every artist. It’s called having a sound. Taylor Swift is like the only exception. Every Beatles song sounds the same. Every Nirvana song sounds the same. Every Blackpink song sounds the same. It goes for most artists. It’s not necessarily a bad thing

Love every single note, every single song. This young lady has style only good ears can appreciate. Her sound is haunting, the beats softly pulse through my veins. I’m captivated by her unique sound and lyrics. Talent lies deep within her soul and it touches mine

In my opinion there are only about 6 good songs on this album. I think she went in the wrong direction with this whole happier than ever era. Oxytocin is the worst song in her entire discography. Idk what her and phineas were going for but the songs are inconsistent. The only ones i listen to are happier than ever, getting older, therefor i am, and overheated. I really expected something so different and so much more than this boring blonde vibe since her first album was full of slaps. I hope she finds herself more and puts out better content. I love how different this album is. The lyrics are insane. There is nothing bad about this album and no song is skippable. Can’t wait to see what she does live. If fans are complaining, they aren’t real fans.

I haven’t written a review on iTunes in probably over a decade, but I HAD to for this album. I bought this album without listening to anything first, because I liked Billie’s previous albums so much. I didn’t look at reviews, or spoil anything. I was shocked at how boring these songs sound to me. This is my opinion so feel free to form your own. But to me, it seems lazy. In some songs, her voice sounds raspy and way too close to the microphone. And too soft. To the point where, she’s not singing, she’s whispering. I’m confused as to how this passes as music. The album tries too hard to be “raw.” Like one song is just a ramble about how people judge what Billie wears. But it’s not impactful. If you want to make a statement, there’s a way more powerful way to do it. It also tries to be edgy at some points, but mostly is too comfortable. When music is comfortable, the vocals need to be amazing. And they were not. But a generic house album, and you would be far more satisfied, unless you’re a hipster who appreciates this kind of dull “art.” And yes, the track that attempts to make a statement about Billie being objectified could be seen as “forward.” To me, as a feminist who is objectified on the daily, I thought it was poor quality, lacked creativity, and came off as ego-centric. I actually yawned while listening through this album. I was honestly bored. And I like a lot of music. Don’t waste your money unless you totally disagree with me. If you like hearing what’s going on in Billie’s mouth, the mic so close it’s picking up things I shall not speak of, then go ahead and buy it.

For the clowns that are bashing her, no one told you to buy it, stop being trolls. Just move on rather then beat an artist up that you don’t like … really stop acting like chicken

although people have many negative opinions about this album, i thoroughly enjoyed her vocals and the production. she has shown so much growth since her last album. i’m the most impressed with her vocals on this album. specially on the tracks: billie bossa nova, goldwing, oxytocin, and happier than ever. overall this album was amazing and i look forward to her future projects!!

I just wished that there were more songs like your power, it was really a favorite and I hope there will be like it in the billie’s future career

The Lead song “happier than ever” is my favorite of them all, it reminds me of the past yet also pulls me back to current, I love the song and this and oxytocin are great, I see people being very impolite instead of just giving an opinion, if I were them I would just kindly leave a 2/3 star review for the effort and than say goodbye.

I honestly do not see what the big deal is regarding her. She and her brother cannot write a decent melody or hook to save their lives and yes I can do better. She also sings with a monochromatic tone on all her songs which you can get the same effect recording a dying person who is trying to sing. This music is only being bought by clueless, mindless, teenage girls who can relate to her as another clueless, mindless girl. This is a classic example of image over musical abilities.

If y’all are really hating on these songs saying they all sound the same…. Literally there not all whispering she literally raises her voice multiple times in each song and she’s pretty good at it to so don’t hate when you prolly sound like garbage when you sing like if your not better then her at singing why even talk just shut up… and if her songs were garbage or didn’t sound good she wouldn’t be famous and neither would her songs so if you don’t like them go listen to something else😐

I love this album so much I got it even when there wasn’t all the songs! I love Billie eilish and I’m so glad she’s not afraid to show herself! I even know when she was born and her real name! It’s cool too! STOP GIVING HATE! She doesn’t have to do what you want. She’s doing what feels right, and that why I like her. She’s trying her best to express herself. You guys don’t need to tell people how much you hate it! IT DOESNT MATTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of the worst songs I’ve ever heard. Can’t wait till we stop hearing about this boring girl who thinks appropriating dated Avril Lavigne aesthetics from over a decade ago is somehow still cool and interesting. Her 15 minutes are up.

Every track on this album is so different from one another. It’s the STYLE the 1 star reviews are hating on, so clearly it’s not their type of music they’d like. This album is one of the best I’ve ever heard. Top 3 for sure.

For people calling this album trash and that they can’t understand why people listen to her music why did they buy songs or the album in the first place ? Or talk about her whispering/singing style it’s her style but the album is so good if you listen from the first track to the last you can identify the differences between each song the sheer amount of sampling and mixing that Finneas did is amazing and the lyrics are so relatable I think people just honestly need to take the time to listen from one track all the way to the end and you’ll see the difference in each song they don’t all sound the same she has an aesthetic that’s true but you can definitely spot the difference and that is what make her and her brother such a great artist so in love with this album but It’s an emotional roller coaster like her calling card! Billie for someone at such a young age, composes herself better than those twice her age. Is she perfect? Far from it. But who is? She speaks to those who relate and understand who she is and what she’s experienced in her life before and after fame. Her music speaks volumes and her voice brings both a soft and strong presence to her lyrics. Her brother Finneas, composed these tracks brilliantly. Enjoying this album, NDA and Lost Cause are probably my favorites. Congrats to Billie on this sophomore album.
