Best music I've heard in a while. She is extremely talented.

Heard "what can i say" on the radio and dnlded happy after that one, then went and bought the whole album. Brandi Carlile has unbelievable and addictive vocals. and the guitars simply dance around all that giving her a unique sound and constant thirst for more. "Closer to you" became my next fav and the entire album is simply just fantastic. I seldom buy cd's and itunes albums but this was a must she is now in my all time top 5! Buy it.

This is a fantastic album - one that will definitely remain on my all-time favorites list. I can listen to it over and over and I love it every time.

I saw Brandi Carlile open for Train in April of this year... the silence that fell over this sold out concert when she sang "Follow" and then "Hallelujah" gives me goosebumps revisiting the moments. Fantastic raw passionate voice... nothing fake about this young lady. You can hear the influences of Jeff Buckley to Melissa Ethridge... great blend and all her own. Enjoy it all.

I saw her years ago open for Jonny Lang here in Seattle. She was amazing. I have two albums of hers and can't wait to hear this one. I am so glad to see she made it.

I'm new to her music. I saw this album on one of those Grey's Anatomy iMixes and I gotta say man I'm really impressed and I definitely remember that song Tragedy from one of the episodes that just had me really into it! But this CD should be pretty amazing and I'm glad I found it. Well worth it!

This chick has the songwriting skills of Lucinda Williams with a great vocal range. Soul filled songs that remind you of the terror and the beauty of being a spirit living a human life.

I saw Brandi two years ago, opening for Jonny Lang. Her version of Hallelujah just... grabbed me. I've been searching for ANY kind of recording of it since then, and have come up empty handed. If anyone knows where I can find it, please let me know! Thanks!

This cd is absolutely amazing! Every song is amazing, soulful, and full of emotion. I just saw her in Aspen and she is one of the only artists that I have seen where she is better live then on a cd. I highly recommend seeing her live, the show is just amazing. She does a rendition of the Jonny Cash Folsom Prison song, brought the house down. Like I said only one word: AMAZING!!!
