I love and hate that I have to share Zach Bryan to the masses on 5/20/22. On this date, he broke through with a rocket strapped to his back with the album of the year. A YouTube sensation turned country music superstar!!! Go become a legend young man!

I like every song on the album

He’s so good that he doesn’t fit into any category, he IS the category. I’ve been a fan since I listened to the lyrics of “God Speed” way back when. Most of his songs are pure poetry. He has some happier songs on this new album, which I appreciate, but nothing is better than those hit-you-in-the-face-instant-tears songs he writes and then sings with this tone that melts into your soul, piercing your heart but warming it at the same time, resulting in a sort of sad happiness that no other artist can this easily do. I am so proud of him for how far he has come, and excited that more people get to experience the experience of Zach Bryan!

The lyrics, the music, his voice. It’s beautiful. It’s authentic. It’s real music. What more can you ask for

Zach really went all out for this album. Yes, there are a lot of songs, but every one of them is to top standard. Some of the best songwriting to come out in a while. Great highs and lows. Truly was worth the wait.

Zach outdid himself with this masterpiece called American Heartbreak. The way he strums, sings, and feels every aspect of his work makes the songs personal. Every beat never misses and he pours his absolute soul into the work of the album. There is no biased in this review but simply an observation of my own seeing the sheer songwriting talent this man has. His ability to rip the listeners heart out, analyze it, and reshape it makes him the best songwriter of our time. People take for granted his skills because of him being a “country singer”. Zach Bryan is much more than a “country singer” he is a talent among men, songwriting superstar, and therapist within his own. You will not regret this listening of 33 songs and a poem. It will change the way you think of your hometown, attitude, and relationships. Listen with a good ear because you are bound to hear some of the closest to home hitting stuff in these great tunes.

Hands down, one of the best, most beautiful albums of an entire generation.

The emotions and story telling are unmatched. The moment Zach’s voice starts you are put at a pause as you don’t want to miss a single world. A true gift to his fans in this 34 song album, we are all at an awe of this soul. May we be lucky enough to experience another long 2hr journey with our captain.

This guy has a story to tell and you had better listen if you know what’s good.

This album will change your life. It has a song for every person and so many of the experiences that we go through in life. Any occasion whether it is love or loss, pain or laughter, grief or thankfulness, or just reminiscing, this album has a song for it.

The current music scene is an absolute mess. Finally something good. Zach might be the purest artist in the business. Love how Zach sped up his music a bit and added more instruments. The band is fantastic on this album. The song “The Good I’ll Do” is my favorite. Never change Zach. Great album!

Zach Bryan is not your run-of-the-mill "country" singer. He's a singer and a songwriter whose music is filled with real stories, real pathos, real feelings, and music that in itself tells a story. It appears that he added his own voice to those ho came before, great artists like Bob Dylan, Jerry Jeff Walker, Gordon Lightfoot, Darden Smith. How could one person tell so many true to life stories in a truckload of 34 songs? He can.
