Meghan takes it back to the doo-wop sound that launched her into stardom with her first album “Title.” She makes the retro influences sound modern and fresh. The ballads on the album have a great and clear message while the more upbeat songs are fun and catchy. This album is a good listen and will make you feel good!

As her career progressed she got further and further away from her signature sound, and into Pop Diva territory. By her last album, is was pure pop garbage... This album bring her back to where she belongs, doing music for herself and not the grand masses. Takin' it Back is not only the title, it is a pronouncement that she's in control. I hope she continues down this path. It works!
