This album is probably going to be the best album of the year. I don’t think it can be topped. My favorite track is “Sleepwalker”.

Following her true to pop sound, this album feels like a more intimate Ava Max experience. The first album felt a little surface level, but diving into her sound and vocals on this one is much more personal and special. A must stream!

The pop girls may want to get back in the studio to cook, for as of now it looks as though Ava is poised to take her place as not A pop princess, but THEE pop princess. Too many artists both within pop and other genres try too hard to reinvent the wheel and show off some niche aspect of their personality, whereas Ava simply gets in your face with the unabashed pop perfection that takes you back to the golden age of pop music. No faux introspection or feigning a sense of depth, Ava simply sought to write a breakup record that allowed the listener to get up and move like it’s their last chance. Diamonds & Dancefloors can be listed under the pop Bible category next to Britney’s Blackout, Gaga’s The Fame Monster, Carly’s EMOTION, and Dua’s Future Nostalgia. Ava should sleep well knowing her time to break into the mainstream had arrived, despite the many challenges along the way.

I’ve been listening to Ava Max fit a while now and i find that this album is good but some songs were a bit disappointing for the standards i had expected. My personal favorite is cold as ice. But again some songs in for album just weren’t like what i had loved about your previous album. Keep up the good work.

Ava Max is showing you what it’s all about on this record! It feels more raw because the emotions are truer than ever, while also supplying us with pop electronic dance tunes. Showcasing her vocals and emotions in a different way than her debut album, I’d say she’s on her way to becoming a songwriting force to be reckoned with! The production is incredible with catchy hooks and melodies that will play in your ears hours after the music is off, but why would you ever want it to be off? TURN IT BACK ON! And let’s just not forget to mention how iconic this album cover is!💎

I can hear the inspiration from pop girls before her (Madonna, of course, and Katy and Gaga) but it still has a new fresh sound for Ava. Banged after banger. Only thing is, I want to hear a more sad ballad! But, this album was mainly for clubs I think.

This is perfectly acceptable for what it is. The production is really good and the beats are really good and the songs are mostly catchy. The things that hold it back is its consistency and its lack of features. Ava Max is a singles artist, in the sense that all of the best songs are the singles. “Maybe You’re the Problem” is indefinitely my favorite song by her. But the deep cuts on this are not as memorable or catchy as her singles and are pretty much filler. You could cut this album in half and it would feel the same. The only non-single on here worth listening to is “Sleepwalker”, which I really like. Also, Ava Max isn’t a very interesting vocalist, and I think she needs more features, because just her singing gets old fast. This album is okay. There’s plenty of stuff I like. But listening to it front to back is a just little exhausting.

As always Ava Max gives us a flawless album where every song could be a single in itself. Never stop queen!
