No where in this track listing does he mention anything about "Christian." He very well may be, but it's not your place to judge where his faith is coming from. This is the type of attitude that actually turns a lot of people away from Christianity. It's a bastardization of the gospel.

2 instrumental songs, a rerelease, and a Hank Williams cover on an 8 song album. For someone who is so into making good “country” music, there isn’t much country about this album at all. I’m all here for the gospel, I think Angel Band and Way of the Triune God are dope, but there’s no fiddle, steel,mandolin, etc. And to describe Joyful Noise: Abomination. That isn’t country. I’m not even sure if it’s music. It’s like if a 14 year old wanted to do an edm tribute to sturgill. I think Joyful Noise would have made sense for bluegrass cuts. But hey that’s art and he can express himself how he wants. But basically 2 concept albums in the last 3 years. Hopefully there’s a quick turn around on a regular album that have the sound that got him his fans in the first place.

Some of the best work comes from giving it up to The Man Upstairs.

Tyler could sing the phone book and reach people's deepest emotions. The man gives it all he has everytime he opens his singing hole.

I like the sound of it and am always for lifting up the gospel, but when he talks about every religion getting to heaven that’s dangerous and wrong. The only way to heaven is through belief in the finished work of Christ.

All the songs are amazing , and the chance to hear them in three different incarnations is a blessing . For those calling it out as not true gospel , or insincere because he includes all faiths is exactly the narrow minded view He’s trying to ditch . Amazing album, but, then all Tyler’s are .

I love Tyler’s sound and how his folk/bluegrass music from his first two albums but this isn’t really it. A lot of just the band playing and not a lot of actual lyrics. The band sounds good but it’s not the same from his other albums.

Tyler Childers can do no wrong. Another great album.

Let me first say I don’t really listen to his music anymore but this is a cool idea that he’s doing this as a Christian myself
