Carrie Underwood has been my idol ever since her first audition on American Idol. On that season when she auditioned I knew she was gonna win. This album is beautiful! Some songs I recommend on this album are Jesus Take the Wheel, Before He Cheats, Wasted, Don't Forget To Remember Me, and I Ain't In Checotah Anymore! All of her songs on this album are wonderful, but these songs really moved me!! Carrie Underwood <3

Why does it say shes pop???

When this cd came out my mom bought it I was in like 1st grade. When Carrie Underwood came close to me about a year later. I got to skip school go to a fair and see her in concert!!! It was my first concert ever and it was with this album. Jesus take the wheel was always my favorite and still is.

It occurred to me that I never wrote a review for this album! Anyway, I've been a HUGE Carrie fan since her first audition on Idol. This album as a debut, was perfectly FLAWLESS. Besides Blown Away, this is my favorite album of hers. It's so classy and country and her vocals are spot on. (Although they ALWAYS are) Here's how I rank the songs: Wasted: 8/10: Even after all these years Wasted isn't my favorite single on the album. Not sure why, I love the video, this is just an easy tune to skip for me. It's not bad though!! Don't Forget To Remember Me: 8/10: Beautiful vocals as always, just not a catchy song for me. It's got a great story, but still not a favorite for me. Some Hearts: 9/10: Love this song, it basically speaks my life. It's fun, catchy and wonderful to sing along to. I've seen Carrie 6 (soon to be 7) times in concert, and she always hits this song perfectly. Jesus Take The Wheel: 11/10: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song. It's been a favorite of mine since I first heard it. It's beautiful, elegant, and Carrie's vocals are just breathtaking. And live? It brings tears to my eyes when she sings this. Gorgeous. The Night Before (Life Goes On): 8/10: Another kind of dry song for me. Love her vocals, just not a huge fan. She doesn't sing this often live. Lessons Learned: 10/10: Love this. It's my motto and I used the lyrics to this song as my yearbook quote back when I was in high school. It's got such a great message. It's one of my favorites and always will be! Before He Cheats: 10/10: What can I say? Ah-mazing! Awesome revenge song and the video is quite phenominal. Wonderful to just blast and sing along to. Starts With Goodbye: 10/10: Love this one too. I always hope that she'll sing it live. Granted, it's not the most memorable of songs, but her vocals SHINE through, especially in the chorus. I Just Can't Live a Lie: 9/10: It's a cool song, good lyrics and good vocals, however it can be forgettable. We're Young and Beautiful: 10/10: Fun song, really good to listen to with your windows down, your hair down and the sunshine out. Very cool vibe, always wished this would have been a single. That's Where It Is: 9/10: Cute love song, reminds me of puppy love or an early relationship song. Whenever You Remember: 10/10: Gorgeous. This song always makes me reflect on my many memories that I have with people. It makes me smile and cry all at the same time. Beautiful. I Ain't In Checotah Anymore: 9/10: Cute song, basically describes Carrie's hometown and how her life quickly changed as she thrusted into stardom. Not my favorite, but good enough. Inside Your Heaven: 9/10: Obviously this song will always hold a special place in the hearts of true Carrie fans. It was, after all, her crowning achievement song on Idol.

Songs are amazing and her song Jesus take the wheel (favorite) is so strong. Love it:) and the song before he cheats is so great. And that is not what she would do in real life. It's just a song! This album has so many perfections. Each song has its own attitude. Jesus Take the Wheel is calm and goose bump material. Wasted is beautiful and harmonic. Before He Cheats is sweet and sassy. Some Hearts is just a good song. I love this album! It's not pop but THE BEST COUNTRY THERE IS!!!

Carrie Underwood has a great voice and did a fantastic job on this album. It's very entertaining. The song I loved most of all was Jesus Take The Wheel. This album explains how it was starting out her courier, many strong Christian songs and country rock(revenge song) Before he cheats. This album shows strong grace. Wasted 9/10 song about doing right things Don't forget to remember me 8/10 asking her family to remember her as she starts her courier Some hearts 8/10 fun song about how people are different Jesus take the wheel 10/10 asking god to take control of her life The night before(life goes on)7/10 about a couple not wanting the night to end Lessons learned 9/10 people are making mistakes and she saw them learning their lessons Before he cheats 9/10 getting revenge on her cheating boyfriend by wrecking his truck I just can't live a lie 10/10 this song shows amazing grace by doing the right thing We're young and beautiful 9/10 she's warning her boyfriend that years are going by and they need to spend time together Starts with a goodbye 9/10 saying goodbye to her friends as she starts her future That's were it is 8/10 she's searching for what she wants to do in her life Whenever you remember 7/10 she's talking about memories she loved with her boyfriend I ain't in checotah (fun song) 8/10 about her home compared to her hotel in the north part of America. I am not usually a country lover, but Carrie's song really speaks to me, I just had to get it. It doesn't sound country to me, it sounds soulful with some acoustic guitar and violin. Definitely get it!!! I think I accidentally submitted a review that had only two stars. Disregard that.
