I absolutely love this album!!! I bought this album off ITunes a while back, but never reviewed it... :/. But anyways Green Day has done it again! I love every single song on this album! My favorite would have to be 21 Guns because its slow and fast and the lyrics are perfect, like "your faith walks on broken glass, but the hangover doesn't pass", I absolutely love that part!!! For the people who say "I miss the old Green Day..." or "where's the Green Day I grew up with?" We'll here they are guys, they are still the best band I have ever heard, and they by far beat any other band that is out today.. sooo quit hating. Same for Uno! Dos! and Tre!, the people that hate it keep your opinions to yourself. I think they did step down but it doesn't mean I'm going to hate on them, Uno! was good, Dos! was a step down, and Tre! Was good too... so idk were all the hate is from. Green Day for life!!! :)

This is poop. Period

The base, the drums, and the voice are most distinguishably Green Day. The lyrics are more mature than the older material as you'd expect by the fact that the group is getting older and can't be playing kids' songs their whole life. The truth is, even punks have to grow up some day and a lot of people don't seem to understand. Besides, it'd be kind of boring to listen to variations of exactly the same thing when switching from one Green Day album to the next.

I hate green day 'cause they make fun of god

This album is definitely one of my favorite Green Day albums. From one song to the next each is unique and great.

Not Green Day's best, though. I hope their new album, "Uno!" is better.

This album came out on my birthday, and I got the CD the exact day, May 9, 2009. I love green day and can't wait for their new stuff :)

This is by far my favorite album. It is one of those rare albums where every song is great. My favorite song is "East Jesus Nowhere"

Green day sends a message that says "be who you are and if anyone tires to stop you just give them the middle finger," and this album proves the point. Especially "horseshoes and hand-grenades"

Well, this album is their greatest because each song is unique! As where other albums, such as Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré! have songs that all sound the same, this is something new every time. Best songs: tracks 1-18. They're all amazing, I can't pick a favorite!

Long time green day fan here, but this is just, not punk enough for me. NOTHING CAN BEAT DOOKIE, KERPLUNK!, AND WARNING!!!!!!! Still, okay album. Hope that the next one can be more punk

I normally don't listen to this type of music - I listen mainly to R&B, Hip-Hop and Rap. But this album is just so good. Highly recommended it. One of those rare albums you can listen from start to finish without skipping a song.

I'm not hating. True greenday broke the punk rule of selling out.... But think you hear them everywhere. They are a great band but not so much fish owners.

If you listen to the lyrics and pay attention, you can tell that this is a concept album, which makes it that much better! When I listen to this album and think of the story of Gloria and Christian and their rebellion against the government. Just- Wow, really wow!

In my opinion the greatest album ever besides the Joshua Tree by U2

It was was the first album I bought and haven't gotten bored of it sense there's so many different moods to the album that its impossible to. It's a perfect blend of punk- rock and pop

This album is very underrated, yes American idiot was track after track awesome. And this one is the same in my opinion except for a few. With songs like before the lobotomy, peacemaker, restless heart syndrome, static age they just show how talented these guys are as musicians! Now you ppl who want old stuff back are probably the same ppl who are disappointed with UNO! I love UNO! Yes it's a step back musically and lyrically but that's what y'all wanted right! Dos will be more garage-y and Tre will most likely be the most recent epic like green day!

My favorite album by them, even though everything else is a close second! You know, the irony of this is I got the album when I was SEVEN. For EASTER. Green day is amazing. They can be punk but have a great melody at the same time. (don't get me wrong, I love all types of punk, but green day is certainly something.) YEEEAAAHH
