LOVE THIS!! I bought it and can't stop listening to all the songs. The two new songs (Celebration and Revolver) are AMAZING!! Revolver is a great newer sounding Madonna song, while Celebration is an also AMAZING sounding song that fits the tastes for fans of both newer and older Madonna songs!

I love Madonna because she "expresses" herself.

I am fourteen and am a fan of lady gaga. most people seem to think that if you like lady gaga, you hate madonna and you know nothing about her music. Well, i am an even huger fan of madonna, i think she is and will forever be the greatest she-pimp of all time. I am especially glad that they included Justify My Love because for some reason itunes doesn't include The Immaculate Collection. I am also glad that Into the Groove is on here because it isn't on the like a virgin album either. But, it doesn't include some of her key hits such as Deeper and Deeper, Rain, Human Nature, and Rescue Me because those are some of my favorites, however it is still a pretty good collection of the majority of her hits. definately recommend for casual fans.

Madonna is legedary and there is not a bad song on this cd. Amazing for any ones collection.

First off, any REAL Madonna fan already owns every one of the tracks on this cd with the exception of one laughable track with Lil' Wayne (can you say "Sellout") and another, "Celebration" that only reinforces the simple timeless brilliance of Jellybean's "Holiday". Madonna makes writing a couple of tracks to get out a greatest hits cd look downright difficult. It seems her forays in alternate areas (saving Africa, 20-something boyfriends, facial rejuvenation, the Tracey Anderson Method) have deeply compromised her musical abilities on this and Hard Candy. What a disappointment.

This is a wonderful collection considering it's putting 27 years of musical genius/art onto 2 albums. Madonna has taken chances, broken down barriers and shown the world what a TRUE musical ICON is (take notes Janet, Mariah, and Britney)! Bravo Madonna, The Top Selling Female in History & Top Touring Artist Ever! A great collection for an outstanding career!

Amazing beyond belief!!! Madonna forever!!!

The 2 disc set it's just fantastic, very pleasing and well done, the re-mastering of the tracks makes them sound incredible, but nobody seems to recognize that Music is just messed up, it's got this weird skips and stuff that makes the track unpleasant. I downloaded the song from iTunes and got that weird sound, so I bought the physical copy of the 2 disc set and Music also sounded messed up there, I feel very unsatisfied as a customer!!

This is no doubt one of the best collection of music ever produced. It will keep u in awe with all the differrent sounds, vocals and pure pop heaven. This double cd proves that Madonna is and always will be the songstress of all time . Buy this and enjoy the hypnotic ride. To lamloardGaga. : You must be on lunnie or I'm sure you have not listened to this cd. The cd has so many different songs and it is no more sexual than the average artists songs out today including gaga. Btw, Madonna and gaga are friends and respect and enjoy each others brilliant artistic styles and so should you. Do yourself a favor and listen to Madonna's lyrics and music before you judge. Shame on you. Go to confession.

This album is a good compilation of many of Madonna's most famous singles. However, the real gem is "Revolver!" I am in so love with this song!!!

This review is long overdue, and by now there is nothing left for me to add to the list of praise for Celebration. What I will say is that Madonna's music is timeless, classic, and always relevant. Despite spanning back several decades, Madonna's music is always fun, exciting, and energetic. How many people can resist striking a pose to the thumping intro of Vogue or swing their arms in their best interpretation of an 80s dance to the synthesized sway of Everybody? Unlike many pop artists, Madonna has found the secret to staying relevant and informative, and that secret is giving her fans what makes them fall in love with her time and time again. Celebration is exactly what it aspires to be; a love letter to all of Madonna's adoring fans that have stayed by her side since the early 80s. Madonna is throwing a Celebration, and we are the guests of honor.

Every Single Track Sounds Amazing!!

No matter if you're a modonna fan or not, her music is still as catchy and recognizable as it ever was. If you can listen to tracks like Holiday, Vogue, or Like a Prayer and not feel like dancing, then you must be dead already. Although her newer stuff has a harder edge, songs like Miles Away, Hung Up and 4 Minutes prove this woman still knows how to give us a catchy hook and beautiful melodies. Can't wait to see what's next. Hope she gets back into the "risky stuff" like in her Blonde Ambition/Erotica days.

This album was basically released as a way for Madonna to wrap up her contract with Warner Bros. Records, and while it's not the greatest collection of hits, it's sufficient and probably the best we'll get for a while. This week (the week of September 29, 2009 - the album's release date) I would advise going to a store and buying a physical copy of the album, this exact version is available for as much as $4 lower than what it is on iTunes. Anyway, this has a lot of great hits, and I'm surprised it has a few songs from each of her albums. I'm also in love with the title track, but my favorite has got to be the new one, "Revolver" with Lil' Wayne. I know that some key hits are missing from this collection, which is why they should have used radio edits of some of these songs so they could fit the important missing tracks on here, but I guess they figured including the most complete album versions of most of these songs was more important than including every single song. In the end, this is a great collection to have for someone who is not a huge fan of Madonna's, doesn't have the money to buy all her albums, or just likes these songs!

I usually don't listen to Madonna but I got to say their are some songs on the soundtrack that will always be a classic no matter what.

Love her or hate her Madonna is here to stay and has proven over the last 25+ years that she is not only an ICON but a brilliant artist. Regardless of what any naive Lady GaGa loving teen likes to say Madonna is and will always be the Queen of Pop. She's been delivering amazing and lyrically deep music since 1983 and continues to do so today. This album (aside from a few missing classics like Power of Goodbye, Deeper & Deeper, Human Nature, Angel and Rain) is truly remarkable and is a testament to her strength, creativity and true artistic genius. The styles throughout the years make her one of a kind and by far at the top of the pack when it comes to females in music. Simply put Like a Prayer, Ray of Light, Live to Tell, Vogue, Into the Groove, Open Your Heart, Holiday and even more recent hits like Don't Tell Me and Hung Up are some of the greatest pop songs in music history. If you're a causal fan this is by far the Madonna album to own and shows that “Her Madgesty” still reigns supreme. Long live the Queen.

MADONNA! There are no other words to describe perfection than her name! This is the best greatest hits album I have heard in my life!

I will add this new body of work to my collection. It's perfect for a brand new fan who hasn't heard her intire collection since day one. I do have and heard everything and she is untouchable. But I see a few of my favorites missing from this CD. Where is Rain, Human Nature and Bedtime Story? The cool thing is that I remember the videos to these songs but had to look up the song titles. She is still the Queen. I hope she can last another 10 years and can step up to the ultimate platform next to the Diva of Queens...DIANA ROSS. No doubt, Madonna is amazing!

The two new tracks on this album: Celebration (the title track) gets me off my booty and dancing. Revolver sounds like a leftover from the Britney Spears album. As for the other 35 tracks, they are the must haves of the must haves of Madonna tracks. You will get a glimpse of her past, present and future. Exactly what a greatest hits album should be.

I have been a huge Madonna fan for over 20 years and her music is classic and timeless. I think this is a great collection but serious music lovers really are better off buying all of her albums. This collection is out of order and does not have some of her strongest work including Angel and Oh Father. If you are a casual Madonna listener this collection would be worth the 20 dollars. Madonna is a legend!!!

My entire life flashes before my eyes while listening to the incredible body of work that Madonna has year after year introduced to the world. Feeling nostalgic, yes, but incredibly not one song on Celebration feels dated. Celebration - perfect in title and feeling. The Beatles were long gone when I was introduced to their music as a child and became a fan. Will this album have the same impact on our children today? I say yes.
