For some reason when I play "Deeds Not Words" it says I have to authorize my computer. Not sure what that's about when all the other songs work fine. I really hope I don't have to buy the song separately since I bought the album...

The murphys used to be a punk rock band with irish folk blended in. This album is the other way around. It is irish folk with some punk blended in. I for one prefer when they go more punk, like in the old days with songs like "skinhead on the mbta", or even on the blackout album with "this is your life" or "as one". Where is "the guantlet' of this album? However, despite having less of that punk edge this is still a very good record, very catchy and sure to be played by me this entire month. If you ever have a chance to see them live, don't miss it, it is probably the best show ever.

Further confirmation that the DKM have stagnated.....this album is bad punk, and bad Irish folk....they have nothing left to offer

This is truly a spiritual experience. It is rock at its finest. A rich tradition of Irish music combined with the punk attitude in a rousing package. They have been great and continue to be great!!

The new album is ok. Get The Mighty Regis new cd "21"...it's better than this. And they are playing w them in d.c for shamrock fest. Great bands

Dropkick with Springsteen alone should make you buy this album...a truly great song on an amazing album

First DKM that I bought...Sampled it and liked. After listening to it I can say that this is a very solid effort. Love Springsteen...Love Peg o my heart...Highly recommend...

For me, Music has become so manufactured, soulless, down-right predictable, I have to keep a vomit bag on standby just to go through iTunes New Tuesdays... over the last 6 months. With that being said... this band caught my ear. They combine punk, Irish jig, dare to include bagpipes, and give it a twist of the old one-two. A nice refreshing change from the otherwise predicable iTunes lineup of "famous"(why?) artists. As a professional composer I look for something unique. If the producer rehashes the same crap from garage band and Logic with that ever so common sterile feeling brought to us by Auto-Tune... I immediately gag! I haven't listened to the radio in over 15 years for this reason! So, I say, give your ears a break from the boring and buy this album! You will NOT regret it!!! :)

I'll be honest the only reason I bought this album was because Bruce Springsteen was Featured in peg o' my heart but I immediately fell in love with this album and the dropkick Murphy's! Great Album and The Song Peg o' my heart is AMAZING :)

DKM is back with sounds much like their old albums mixed with more traditional irish songs. This album is simply amazing, and I am not just saying that as a Devout dkm fan, this is a must buy for anyone who enjoys any irish rock. Can't wait to see them in St .Louis and Cleveland!!

DKM never disappoints in my book! Another great album from one of the best out there!! Three of the tracks that stand out to me are Hang 'Em High, Going Out In Style and Deeds Not Words, which is a GREAT song. Don't really understand the people who want them to change their sound or whatever. What do you think they're going to do, put out a hip hop or dance album? Hell no! One of the things I love is that they always bring it, and they certainly have again with this album!

Listening to this gives me another reason to be glad I'm Irish. Fantastic album that gives some variety to the lately bland music released lately. Be sure to give this one a listen.

I just think it's screaming. That's what we call music nowadays? Horrible. Anybody can scream, how can we judge if they have talent?

In this musical landscape of gaga and ke$ha topping the charts, the Dropkick Murphys are a four-leaf clover among a field of aural thistle. Going Out In Style offers a great blend of fast hard rocking tracks and Murphy-fied folk. Although not normally a big fan of, "The Boss" DKM's version of the classic "Peg O' My Heart" featuring their friend from the Garden State is impressive. The title track and "Hang 'Em High" take me back to a happy memory of seeing the boys making a quiet room turn into a sweaty unified mass bouncing and singing every word too many years ago. Each studio album the band produces makes me excited to see these new offerings presented live, the only way to truly understand the greatness that is the Dropkick Murphys. This is not an album to buy a few tracks from; from start to finish my favorite Bostonians since Cam Neely bring fifty minutes NOT TO BE MISSED! Buy the full album and remind yourself that good music does exist in the 21st century. Thank Again, Dropkicks!!!

I'm not going to tell people what to listen to. Everybody has different tastes. All I know is that when I bought this album today, I fell in love with it. Instantly. I don't think I have ever been blown away like this before. I haven't slept in two days, and I don't care. Going Out in Style has given me so much energy.

Love it. I love that it's not the "same formula" and it's still relevant and hits hard like the rest of their albums. Rock on!

This album has a Flogging Molly feel to it, but it is still a great DKM album.

This is a good album from the Dropkick Murphys. The bagpipes and drums are great. And the most of the songs are real good too.

There aren't words to describe the balls that the Murphy's have...this album is already a classic and its only a day old.
