One of the best all time bands ever. I'm an 80s baby and can't get enough of Def Leppard.

Firstly, people, you do realize that Def Leppard's originals (like Vault) aren't on here because their old label, Mercury, owns the rights to it? That's why none of the real stuff is here. It's not that iTunes "got smart" or Def Leppard "caved," it's because Mercury owns it and said "no." That's why they're re-recording things- they have a new label, and can now market their music however they please. They're trying to get some of the oldies out to us and make them as close as possible. Secondly, finally, a live album! I love Def Leppard and had the chance to see them live a few years ago, and they really are incredible. All of my favorite tracks, and then some I hadn't heard before. It really is a must have. Joe's voice is still impeccable after all these years, and while Steve cannot be replaced, this is one heck of an effort. Way to go Def Leppard! I look forward to what's coming in the furtue!

Live is ok. Not going to buy it. Get rid of the tribute crap, and find the original stuff non live music. Then I'll buy it.

I've waited so long for this classic band to get on iTunes! Seen them twice in concert and love this live album. So thankful Joe continued to tour after the passing of his father! Great album!!

I am 15 years old, but love def leppard they are my favored band , but it would be really nice if they had something besides a live album on I tunes the album is good but I'd much rather listen to the recorded version the harmonies sound much better also I dont like the sound of the croud cheering or singing along in the background I would really love one of there albums on here.

I downloaded the entire album only to find out that this is not the real deal! It sounds nothing like the original! True fans want the original, not a remake nearly 30 years later!

The band that sings these Def Leppard songs should be taken to have singing lessons..this band is HORRIBLE. Heard better at kareoke night

iTunes, I' ve been looking for a long time to get the real albums of the real Def Leppard. But you have made them impossible to find because you don't have any albums by them, just cheep sh** that are "Tribute" bands. However, you do have this album of them in concert, which suprises me. But thank you anyway, for the music that's not cheep sh**! P.S. GET REAL DEF LEPPARD ALBUMS IN STORE!!!!!

I heard this guys for the first time back in 1988 when I was going to middle school. And I just went to their concert in Atlanta and they still sound amazing it was a very good show.

I just saw def leppard live and I feel like I'm back at the concert when I listen to the album it's the best live album ever

The problem with Def Leppard is the background vocals of all the old songs were so over-produced by Mutt Lange that the band could never capture that same sound live, as evident here, and every other time they play live!

The song is good, but why can't I find the "not live" version. I don't want the live version (even tho I already paid for it)

Finally the music is on iTunes! The album is great, but it is just not the same without the terror twins..only Phil and Steve could really rock this song properly. Vivian is great, but I sure miss Steve Clark!

Joe's voice is a little different, considering his age, but Def Leppard's still got it!

For those of you waiting for Def Leppard to come to itunes, I just put my Def Leppard greatest hits cd into my laptop while I was syncing my itunes, and it immediately asked me if I wanted to import my Def Leppard cd into my itunes library!!! I now have Def Leppard greatest hits on my ipod!! Minus the cover art, but that's a small price to pay!!

Maybe it's a good business decision on the band's on iTunes part, but I'm not going to buy these live tracks. They don't sound good at all. Instead I am going to pay 70 cents more for the videos. It would be great if the band would put up their old albums so I could listen to them.

The only reason I write this is because I saw this live, and love the band.

Finally Itunes gets their head out of their backsides and get some Def Leppard. Unfortunately for Itunes it's too little, too late. Went to Wal Mart out of frustration and bought the original non live versions of Pyromania and Hysteria. Perhaps Itunes won't be so late with my Whitesnake video (Here I go again) I've been waiting on for so long. But since this is live I'll take a sampling of it and maybe buy it in the future.

After all these years... they release this horrible LIVE album. Total junk. Get the real albums - the sound is much better. I grew up listening to these guys, and owned every album. All I can say is NO to this live one. Even Metallica finally gave into iTunes!!

FYI, Newsflash, it's most likely not Def Leppard that is not letting the studio albums be put up, it is their record label who won't put their studio albums up on Itunes. It isn't like what happened with Kid Rock, he didn't put his music on here as an act of Boycott. Most likely the record company does not wnat to release the studio albums for some odd reason (probably terms of money). Great, live we get it but really, why can't their record label just man up and get used to new technology! We can't stop digital downloads! We might as well forget vinyls because they don't even make them anymore!

I love this band and have done so for many years I want the album versions of the songs not live versions. I'm not saying their not good live but the clarity of the album/CD versions can not be beat sorry. So please give the customers looking for the same thing what we want and I can promise these songs will be bought by the ton. Come on iTunes start reading these reviews and I can guarantee your sales will sky rocket if you give your customers the real deal and not these knock off tribute bands, Live only versions, and the bands we are looking for that you don't offer. There are more bands on here I can't find unless they're tribute bands and I refuse to spend my money on crap. The live versions are okay but if I want to hear live versions I'll go to a concert.

I have been listening to these guys since I was 6 (I am now 31) and they are still my fav band EVER, I just feel awesome whenever I hear their music, love them and this album is just as brilliant, the energy is amazing! From the mouth of Joe Elliot himself via a recent interview you can find online, it is a conflict regarding profit pirating by their label that keeps their original tracks off iTunes. He says the band should be in control of their music and garner the lion's share of profit. Makes sense. Unlike the majority of artists, he reveals that their recording contract grants them veto power rendering their label unable to do anything with their music without their permission. Very prudent. Before you deem Def Leppard as greedy capitalist pigs, consider the 25/75 ratio. That money will go into someone's pockets. Why should it be their label rather than to this incredible band? Where else is such upside down profiteering tolerated in our own daily lives?

Happy they came out with this, not a bad album by any means, but I'm still waiting on the real albums, no more of this tribute-band garbage

Great Live Album, I've always wanted to hear some of these tracks live. I was at CD Tradepost earlier this afternoon, I found a number of their albums, I purchased their compilation album Vault: Def Leppard's Greatest Hits covering their best from 1980-1995. I just finished adding that album to my iTunes Library. If you're looking for a Def Leppard studio album, go to CD Tradepost or a discount music store, buy the Def Leppard album and upload it to your iTunes LIbrary. The purchase didn't even cost me $10 and most of the customers are looking for music of the 2000-2009 decade.

Ok people, this is a LIVE album. It clearly says LIVE! Anyone who knows anything about music knows that no band sounds the same live as they do on the album. Same thing with acoustic, hello! That being said, this album rocks!!! It is live, so of course it won't sound exactly like the albums. The vocals are still great and the songs are the Def Leppard songs we can quote! One of the best live albums I've heard. iTunes, please get some of the original albums though.

I really wish that itunes release the orignal albums and not this live stuff. This is still a good album. But i would prefer to have the classic Def Leppard with their studio albums on itunes for downloads.

Kudos to the band for not releasing everything they worked for, to I-tunes. And, it's also gives the listener, many who are from a younger generation, the choice of going out and finding the C.D.'s or in many cases albums, instead of instant availability, something that is very special, and is lost when everything is right there. I remember, as a musician, the satisfaction of discovering a band for the first time and being able to go back and find out what inspired that band, in turn, going back again, ultimately for many rock bands, especially the British, finding the roots in American Blues. I do miss Steve, but the band is doing what he would have wanted, he wouldn't have wanted them to stop, in fact, I know he's right there with them, on stage, in the studio; people live eternally, here and there, because we TALK, we tell people about those who have left this world for the next, so nobody who gave while living, is really ever gone. God bless this band for carrying on through so much and thank you for continuing to share your gifts with all of us. Technology is good for many uses, especially in the pursuit of medical research, but we have to draw the line in some places and music is something that was always meant to be heard live, the pounding of the bass drum, the ear splitting guitars, the soaring vocals, and the boom of the bass. I didn't grow up in the Heyday of Def Leppard, but I do love these live songs even my dad who did grow up in Lepp's heyday likes this album. And the reason why there is no Pyromania or Hysteria or other classic albums is because the record company who produced their albums is asking A LOT of extra money to put the albums on itunes.

There are something's that should NEVER be messed with. Put old Def on here then we'll have a winner. But until the "boys" can get it sorted out you might as well go pick up a CD or 3 of "OLD SCHOOL LEPPARD"!!! Nuff said

I graduated in 1985 so I was there during their popularity. I like the older releases and now I'm starting to buy live releases. Either way, it's great!

I am only 13, but I grew up lestining to def leopard. This is a sad excuse for an album, I was really looking forward to this but it is just crap! I really hope they release the real def leopard and soon!
