I am a huge fan. I have been listening to them since the black album. Load was the first I actually purchased and loved it. Reload of course is songs from the same recording time as Load. I would listen to both of those albums all the time. I do understand some of the bashing as this was a stray for an usual Metallica album but I thought they sounded great. Fixxxer is just such a bizarre song I thought but I love it. Just try and give the album a chance to grow on you.

Metallica can't play the same thing all the time, you so called "fans" aren't really ones at all if you don't like new and original music, but to me personally, this album is perfection

New style for an expert! Metallica mixes it and and does it well.

A few listenable tracks like "Memory Remains" but nothing great. Stick to their first 5 albums and you won't miss much.

I have been listening to these guys from an early age. Just like Load, ReLoad is Metallica's approach to hard rock and personally I think these two albums are great. It's a 'must have' for a true fan's collection. Rock on! \\m//

Seems like they can't accept the fact that bands like Metallica try to push the envelope and evolve instead of regurgitating the same BS.

This is a very good album. Maybe not as heavy as some would like, but it deserves more credit than it gets. It really does grow on you after a while

I hate people who say that load and reload were terrible. They most certainly were not. I think that it's good that Metallica is trying to evolve to show that they've matured. I really like both load and reload a lot.

Going back and listening to the album I see the true crappiness of a lot of the songs. It's like they were phoning it in. It's not a Metallica album, it's a Metallica lite album. Between both Load & Reload there is one decently mediocre album. I'd get any other album of Metallica's catalog before you by this.

Posers (not real Metallica fans) are the ones talking smack. Great album from a great band.

I thought it was a good album. Im a huge Metallica fan so I like all their albums. This was good. Better than load,Garage Inc & Metallica(black album) I think

Personally Load and Reload had songs that still rocked even though the rest of the album was garbage.(And actually, the Black Album is this way too. Look at what was released as singles with the exception of "Holier Than Thou"). The 3 songs that keep this album from being completely hideous are "Fuel" "The Memory Remains" and "The Unforgiven II" Not Metallica's best work at all.

Not an Amazing album, but its certainly not terrible either, Metallica took a different direction and the result to me was really good. It probably would've been smart to stick with their original style but oh well, I like this album 4 out of 5,
