Boys Like Girls are still just as appreciative of their fans as they were from day one, if not more. It's called you-should-have-an-ecclectic-taste-in-music. Stop with all of the negativity, and calling this garbage. It is not garbage- it is a CD that is full of hard work, time, and effort. The music is great. These guys are great. I feel ashamed that people would call this terrible. I feel so proud of Martin, Morgan, John, and Paul. Yes, the sound has changed because IT IS A NEW ALBUM. I am happy that you guys took risks, and used different instruments and sound. Job well done, guys! If you enjoy bands that take risks, appreciate their fans, fun songs, and work hard for where they are, please buy this. These guys are truly amazing, and I am proud to say that they are from New England!!

I absolutely love it. Yes they have changed, but it is because they grew up. It sounds country because they were in Nashville when they wrote this album, and that is like all country music there. If you are a true fan you will stick with them no matter what. ^.^

I've listened to all of the Boys like Girls albums, and this is by far my favorite. Their new sound/style is really great, and it sounds so much more mature. The songs are all written really well; I think they've really improved. This was the first album of theirs that I liked every single song. And, yes, they're no longer the emo-pop band they were before, but everyone changes. I don't think they're copying Train or whatever other band. I actually quite like this over the old style.

This LP was very generic with very cheesy lyrics. I loved their first two albums but this third installment failed to measure up. Oh well

Omg they have grown up. I like the flow of country and pop together that they have going on. I loved their other album but I'm really really liking this.

I love the country feel. They could've done this their whole career. I loved the Love Drunk and Great Escape BLG, but as a huge country fan too, I loved this album.

I have always been a huge fan og Boys Like Girls and they never let me down. Its awesome how they are able to incorperate a new sound and still be themselves. I truly love this album and think that its awesome

Boys Like Girls is my favorite band hands down and they have been since 2008. I loved their music and I was soooo excited when I heard about Crazy World....but I'm honestly a little disappointed in it (not counting Be Your Everything, I LOVE THAT SONG!). I'll always love the band and stay loyal to them but they were meant to play alternative. Country just doesn't sound right coming from them and I personally hope they go back to rock after this.

I was so excited for BLG to make a new album, mainly because I was so excited to see what direction they would grow in, it's obvious that all bands grow and evolve and have to experiment with different sounds to further themselves (not with money, fans, or material things but just as musicians in general). I have to say I was very disappointed when listening to ALL of the songs on this album. Maybe it just wasn't the direction I expected them to take, but honestly I'm not one to be very critical on a band for trying new things, this is just not good. I hate saying this, and writing a review like this of a band that I have loved from the start but speaking the truth and what I got out of this album is that BLG did not live up and grow to their full potential, they got lost and ended up somewhere in a country/pop/alternative entanglement. I hope the next album they make they bring back a little taste of their old stuff like Hero/Heroine, The Great Escape, Thunder, etc. and take a little step backward, because even a step backward to where they were a few years ago would be better than taking any other steps forward in THIS direction. :(

When I first heard the Crazy World EP, I was expecting the LP to follow a similar pop-alternative style. (Songs like The First Time and Be Your Everything) I was really surprised to hear the new tracks on the album such as Shoot and Hey You, and how they touched the Country genre. I think this album is definitely a sudden change for long time BLG fans, but it's also really good! Sure it's a new sound, but it's a good new sound! I happen to love pop, alternative, and country music and this album fulfills each :) They have some pop-alternative, some pop-country, and it's such a cool sound!!

I love boys like girls and here's why, Martin where's his heart on his sleeve and their 3 albums tell the story of their lives. They're not 16 anymore, they're in their mid 20s and their music reflects their maturity. The sound is maturing, the words behind the music are maturing. I love the added country twang to a few of the songs but I'm from Nashville where Martin wrote the album. Well done guys, you're doing your own thing.

You can't call your self a fan of BLG if you don't like this. IT'S AMAZING. It's so perfect, Martin's voice is perfect, Paul's guitar is perfect, Morgan's bass is perfect, John's drums are perfect. These songs are some of the best things they've ever written just because they sound different now than they did doesn't make them bad. They're maturing and finding where they belong, and they certainly belong right where they are. After two years of waiting for it Crazy World was worth every single second. -Joey :)

The band I grew to love had their face paced pop music that had a significant catch to each song. This new album is different, the guys are older, but the sound is new and different. I think its good, just miss the old style, I don't blame them for trying new stuff, but think their old stuff out did this album.

This CD is wonderful! Beats were mixed in well, drums were played passionately and the overall genre of music has changed slightly, but its still hip and new age enough to be played

im aways open to hearing new songs and i try t keep an open mind but honestly, this was just awful. this album might as well be by some random country artist. it doesnt even sound like them at all. there's really only maybe 2 or 3 songs on here that i can listen to without shuddering. the country-pop thing should not have been attempted, they should have stuck with thier emo-pop sound because they were actually good at it. im disapointed.

yes they are older and exploring different kinds of music. but as a fan wouldnt u want to follow them with whatever they do? this album is very good and i love it! im a fan forever no matter what <3

The Boys Like Girls I fell in love with had such better songs and they sounded like rock. This doesn't sound anything like what they used to, it just sounds generic. I saw them in concert this year and it was a great rock concert. I know they have "grown up" but this just sounds like a pop country album to me.

I have always been a HUGE BLG fan, and was so excited when I heard they FINALLY had a new album out....however, this sounds country! This is NOT the Boys Likes Girls sound I fell in love with and am left utterly disappointed. I like the I'll Be You're Everything song, that's sweet, and tolerable, but the rest, not impressed :(

Over the years you could see their progression as a group and I think for their third album they needed a new element that does sound very organic and easy to listen to! Martin Johnson is a fabulous song writer and singer, all their songs on this album are great! This album made me love and respect them more as musicians!

I've never heard a BLG song I didn't love. Until this album. I feel like they put no heart into it. I was really looking forward to hearing more from them, but this was a big let down.

Pamby is it's second name. It's P-A-M-B-Y. Is there any originality to this? At all? There have been about 50 different bands, playing over the course of the last 20 years (which should be enough of an insult to be labeled with a 20 year old noise) That would do just as well as this - 20 years ago and with 13-year-olds. Somebody has to start trying harder.

I love boys like girls and everything they do. Except I wasn't expecting this. I'm going to listen a few more times but this is so not up to par.

This album was kind of a let down, I thought it would be somewhat good because the ep was alright but it's nothing like what they used to make, it sounds like pop and country. I miss when they had that pop punk sound with a small country influence to it. Nothing they release will be better than their self titled album imo

Their debut, obviously now, will never be touched, as each subsequent release has gradually gone downhill. They should stop recording and start songwriting for pop country artists in Nashville. super cheesy pop fluff, with no crunch, rock edge, or any superb melodies. Sounds like music made for a Disney show

I have been a fan of BLG for a while now, and this is the best album i have listened to in along time!! This album truly has songs for everyone! Pop fans, Rock fans, Country fans, Dance fans, you name it, no matter what genre you like you'll find it here. I recommend this record for anyone who is looking for the perfect record to play while working, driving, or playing at a party, or just want to have a good time! This Album goes from wild party highs, amazing vocals and instrumentation to poignant love songs songs that pull at your heart. This really is an album for everyone!!

This makes me think of A Rocket to the Moon. BLG is just growing up, experimenting with new sounds and equipment and ideas. Sure, it's different from expected, but isn't that what you should do? Shake things up? Expect the unexpected. It's a completely different sound, but that's okay because they're still the lovely boys we all know.

This album is so good! :) I'm soooo glad Boys Like Girls is finally back! I think this CD is their best yet... I especially love Red Cup Hands Up Long Brown Hair :) AND, I hate all the disrespect that critics are giving Boys Like Girls. They don't deserve that at all. BLG has their own original flare and all of their music is really well composed (go Martin!) . They are definitely one of the best bands out there! I love you, BLG <3

This record is disgraceful. It is boring and bland, and very lacking in any sincerity. This is a band that used to have a sound that was, for better or for worse, their own. Now they sound like they went through a Nashville makeover contest and took courses on how to write commercialized alt-country that is easily repeatable, and lacking in heart. This band has so much talent, and it seems as if they were convinced to water it down. You know, when they released their first record, they did not necessarily reinvent a genre, but they played their interests and did it well. This is the sound of a band who wrote a record without their heart and it shows every step of the way.

I LOVED their first two albums, mainly because of the punk style, but this one is just... boring, I guess. Sorry.

I'm kinda disappointed. I figured the new album would be a bit different from their old ones but this was more than I expected. There's too much country and not enough BLG. I miss their old punk type of style. If I want country I'll listen to Taylor Swift.

Boys Like Girls has been one of my favorite bands since 2008 when I first heard "The Great Escape". I don't care if they change their sound or not, their LYRICS are what have gotten me through some rough times in my life. They speak from the heart and that's what I love to listen to. Thank you for another amazing album!

The best songs were on the EP, not sure I heard anything on the new cd that I would have paid additional money for if I had a time machine it seems they're trying out a new sound that isn't their best

I'm not a typical country fan, but I feel like it's just enough of the good parts of the sound without all the super annoying twang. I'm glad this album is not just a rehash of their old stuff. I had the pleasure of seeing them on tour a couple of months ago and they rocked the crowd with their older stuff and played a few tracks off this album. I like it a lot.

Boys like girls have not gone country? tf? it's more of a classic rock sound if anything, but definitely not country. Why would they make three of the same albums that sound the exact same? They grew up and moved out of their tour bus and out of Boston and are still creating the same amazing sound they always have been. This album is amazing. Creative, inspiring, talented, - perfect.

Great album I love them

Their music was great.. I loved "Heels over head" and hero/heroine, those were probably my favorites. But this album... I'm not sure where they're going with their music. I was surprised and happy to see they released a new album... But I miss their pop-punk sound.

Where's the guitars and the rock sound ? It's pop . Not like the old boys like girls .
