I would understand why Live in Concert was slammed by many hip-hop lovers just because it wasn't anywhere near traditional hip-hop.If you're looking for a "How Fly 2", this is nowhere near it. The beats on this EP are so colorfully elaborate and hold a different hue than any ordinary hip-hop beat you'll hear from these two artist. No wonder why it took Spitta and Wiz a while to get samples clear and pay of dues. This is project reminds that hip-hop is not just bass kicks and 808 claps but that it is truly a respected art form. I, as a lover of all music genres, enjoyed Live in Concert as it took me on a ride through the many sounds it holds.

To put it simply, for what this was released for, this is excellent. It was released for music to smoke to. Now would I jam to this while driving in my car, definitely not

It's different. And their flow on it is basically to show how multifaceted and unconfined they are. Gotta understand the art form to truly judge. Simple minded fools need to go buy some waka or lil wayne if u want pointless mainstream flow.

the hype behind this EP was so big but honestly i feel let down. after all the wait i thought it should be a lot better with the time they had to produce it.

Seriously not what I was hoping for or expecting. Disappointed.

I have to say that Wiz and Curren$y can put out something much better, but at the same time I'm impressed. Wiz has been really disappointing lately, especially with his latest sophomore studio release, O.N.I.F.C. Lately, he's been going more mainstream than usual. His beats have not been as hazy and jazzy, but more bass related grooves. His last album was way too overproduced and featured guest appearances that didn't flow well with the rest of the album. I've always been awaiting for him to release something similar to Kush & OJ; Rolling Papers I thought was a great studio album. It showed an artist not giving into mainstream popularity, but also being very billboard successful. O.N.I.F.C. was a huge departure as it talked about the same subject matter, but lacked the raw energy of Wiz. Worst of all, it gives into mainstream popularity. This EP shows hope for Wiz and helps Curren$y become even more well known. I feel like these songs are showing the old Wiz coming out and maintaining his image. These beats are the closet beats to Kush & OJ, which was my favorite Wiz release. The lyrics are lacking, and I think Wiz has lost that vibrating flow he used to have, but it still has potential. The beats make this whole album and enjoyable, and all together it flows as one solid play which I like to see. There are downfalls to this EP such as lyrical matters, flow, and at times production is a bit too much. Though, the beats are flawless, Wiz and Curren$y work great as a collaboration, and the album flows perfectly. I'm not quite sold on this release, but it gets me hyped and anticipating a more relaxed, less produced third album from Wiz. I really hope he maintains this same structure and throws away his radio friendly appearance.

It feels like they put no effort in this album. They just kinda threw it out there like 'ehh whatever'. Just money to them. Instead of making music cuz they love to.

I seriously feel like I'm lost in 1976 in the back of a Rolls Royce limousine, staring out the window in my fav Blaxploitation flick. This EP is so on point - cutting edge, in depth lyrics. These two predicted the planes to land here years ago... I'm sure this is somehow equivalent to when Black Dynomite successfully pulled off that boomerang toss before he walked in the room. Being a taylor before it was cool and rockin with the jets since cash money, i listened to this EP hoping spitta brings the heat as he always does, and wiz, i honestly just hoped curren$y brings out the best in him as he has in the past. after the first two songs i was impressed with spitta and sat threw wiz's boring verses about how rich he is. It seems the money really got to him and lacks content and substance in his music now. it was a nice listen but these two have so much music it will just get buried beneath how fly, k&oj, pilot talk ETC.

They first said this was originally suppose to be dropped on the 3rd year anniversary of How Fly... then 10 months later it drops now... and 6 songs which are at best alright..nothing near How Fly where most of the songs were fire...and definitely not worth the longg wait and hype...disappointed

The beats are like every one is saying slow and not catchy, almost Stoney elevator music. If they were gonna take this long at least put out a whole tape.

Super boring songs i wish wiz would make another album like rolling papers

Wiz made more money off of his "new" flow. Therefore, he will continue to make money off of it. Why would he go back to making stuff for you MIXTAPE JUNKIES who are too poor to just buy the music. Have common sense, he still has flow, but obviously spits new flow for the money.

Another classic. Love the Latin jazz vibe in this. If anybody knows curren$y they know he always have a different vibe from his projects. How fly was a mix of their styles. This is a ep for the smokers . These two artist work hard. Go out and support these guys.

Not what I had expected. But if you really do smoke a lot of weed and have an open mind to a new but yet familiar style of wiz and curren$y then it won't disappoint. It's a little shorter but very good stop hating cuz you wanted a dance track!! This EP is for stoners not wannabe stoners who wanna bump a dance track instead....

This is just rapping over elevator beats. Spitta brings his usual flow, but Wiz has his "new flow" (not the same that was on How Fly). So some people might like this but those who wanted to old Wiz (Kush and Orange Juice Wiz) obviously aren't going to be too pleased. It's pretty good though, and it will grow on you.

Had overwhelming hype behind this EP. I don't know how people give this 5 stars, honestly i expecting a compilation at least on par with How Fly, if not better. In my iTunes library i have Curren$y and Wiz galore but i just can't get into this EP. It's really bad. - From an avid fan.

These lyrics don't talk about anything of significance. I think people just buy this stuff and give it five stars cuz they think they're supposed to. Think objectively people, there is little to no artistic ability displayed here.

This is nothing like the old stuff. Almost every song is boring and a couple of them our just not even worth listening to. When i clicked on this i thought for sure masterpiece, but no way, not even close!!!
