If you have been a fan of Kaskade, from the beginning you will love and appreciate this. I'm talking "What I Say"(2001), It's You, It's Me (2003), "In The Moment"(2004). This takes me back to that sound and that time. I told all of my friends they had to see this DJ at Vinyl on the rooftop for his "House of Om" release. Oh how the venues have changed;). I've loved and appreciated ALL of Kaskade's music, and how it's changed and progressed through the years. A true talent! I'm noticing a revival of that deep house/loungie sound coming back. Warm summer evening, one AM windows down, driving....

What can I say! Kaskade did it again. You really have to love kaskade's music and understand it in order for you to love this album. If your expecting mainstream music then this album is not for u.

If you are looking for a party type/dirty drop type album then you should look elsewhere. This album is absolutely amazing, it's EDM music at its best. Not just a hook and drop.

So I went to the 'Dance' section of iTunes to browse the Top Singles and I ended up buying this whole album instead. I've always thought of Kaskade as one of those artists who produce base-dropping, hard, club songs (I wasn't really a fan of him until now) but this is a total surprise for me. This a great album and one that I'll be listening to for the next few days.

Suprisingly one of the best set up albums I've seen in quite some time. 01 - 5/5 | Last Chance | As the first single off the album, it works as a great opener and dynamic party starter without beeing over-the-top or cheesy. You can tell how this song was designed and the amount of time that went into the perfectionist level of the song musicly. 02 - 4/5 | Why Ask Why | Surprisingly upbeat and happy! I didn't think it would sound the way it did until the chorus hit, but really it's not bad. The thing I particularly noticed was the echoing harmony after each line of the chorus. 03 - 5/5 | MIA to LAS | Although it may not have vocals, this track truly is gorgeous. Returning to his old sound, Kaskade layers on a deep Ibiza feel to this mouthwateringly slick track. The percusion is perfect and the strings hit just right during the key change in the background. This song I think is the first in a trio of similar-sounding tracks that pop up between songs on the album. 04 - 3.5/5 | No One Knows Who We Are | This is kaskade's alternate version of his original collaboration with Swanky. The punky-vocals at first stick out through this intricate down-tempo string arrangment, but slowly begin to fit more easily once the chorus hits and the cello adds an acoustic bass to carry the allready breathtaking chords. 05 - 4.5/5 | Feeling the Night | I think i couldn't really appreciate this song the first time i heard it, but once you begin to comprehend that melody of her vocals well enough, the song is reborn. Just EDM enough to play enough in a club, yet beautiful enough to play at a wedding reception. At 2:30 the chorus combines with an interesting rearangment of the drop in a really fun way. Deffinitly a memorible single. 06 - 7/5 | Take Your Mind Off | OH MY GOSH THIS IS GORGEOUS! Seriously don't be scared away by those cheesy elevator vibes, give it a REAL CHANCE. This is for shure a slick return to kaskade's forgotten sound. Truly a beautiful addition to an allready beautifully flowning album. Gradually Reflects "MIA to LAS". 07 - 5/5 | LAX to JFK | The 2nd companion to "MIA to LAS", this song provides an Ibizan feel to an interesting string arrangement that sounds off-beat at first. The highlight is drop at 1:58 that is underlined with nothing but a naked 4-on-the-floor kick drum. 08 - 6/6 | Atmosphere | What can I say? Seriously? You by this time should allready have a strong opinion of this song. Instantly recognizable, well built, and when you really think about it, musicly unique to other melodic styles I've heard before now. Wether or not it faces mainstream succes, any EDM fan after 2013 will recognize this easily. And a big kudos for the courage to sing your own song, Kaskade! Highly rare for most DJs. 09 - 5.5/5 | Missing You | Sadly underestimated and forgotten about. Arguably the best single off the album. This girl adds vocal twists to add complexity to an only decent melody. I'm not kidding just the shear way the voals deliver gives a reborn meaning to the chord progression carrying the track. 10 - 3/5 | Something Something | Very rock-breathy male vocals + downtempo allmost "dubstep"-stylized percussion give this song a very "Radioactive - Imagine Dragons" feel. If discovered, it'd easily fit as a pop song on the radio. Decent. 11 - 4.5/5 | SFO to ORD | The final song of the "MIA to LAS" trilogy. A fun light-hearted track beginig in white noise and percussion, it progresses to more fun synths and a repeating bass in the back. Carrys a story and progresses, it can be used as filler or the main course. 12 - 5/5 | Floating | This, more then any other song defines the light, softer, magical feel that carries through the album as a whole. Will be remembered years from now as a defining Kaskade song. It Is just emtpy ambient sounding progression carried GORGEOUSLY by Haley's light, airy, vocals. I feel many remixes coming on for this song very soon. 13 - 7/5 | How It Is | Just as Missing You, highly underestimated. It should have been named "Sound", considering she mentions the phrase "How it is" only once. Very typical to the Dynasty sound and just an all-around a very pretty piano ballad with some nearly tropical percusion and unforgetable vocals. Highly recomended. 14 - 4/5 | Atmosphere (Redux Edit) | Really, Kaskade, there wasn't any reason for a key change, it made it just kind of disorientating. What I enjoyed, though, was the "MIA to LAS" feel I mentioned earlier. Really, this track just says "OK stop criticizing us americans, we got house just as good as yours". 15 - 4/5 | Atmosphere (Music Video) | Not THAT interesting, though I can't deny how visually dynamic it was. Kaskade was just to cool for school (Not in a stupid way) and It was really fun and colorful. Watching the behind the scenes made me SO jealous of all the fans that gpt to appear in it. I'm glad I got it. Overall, this album was the redifining sound for Kaskade, not only as a comeback or return to old sound, but a progression to a lighter, opener, yet danceable feel not really claimed yet by anybody before now. Really something imposible to regret, whether your new to kaskade or EDM, a diehard fan, or you just stumbled across this and have no idea what any of this is. May as well get it, especially for what? $10? Wow. 5/5.

This album is truly great!!! Kaskade went back to his roots and got in touch with his personal side. All the tracks are great. Idk where these bad reviews are coming from. Im sure its ppl who are barely getting into house music and always expect the drop. House vasy so many varieties that it is not about the drop. I absolutely love it. I have nothing negative to say. Kaskade stayed within his style of music and is not influenced by the mainstream and what ppl expext of a house album. Mad respect for him, he is a true artist. With that said #LetTheMusicSpeak!

Plug in and hit play. "Last Chance" plays and instantly a swell of happiness penetrates your soul. Kaskade does it again. Excellent mix of his old deep house sound with "How It Is" to more intricate complex progressive sounds and synths in "Feeling the Night". This is how house music should be.

Most songs are kinda too techy. Atmosphere is a really good song though! Not so much the remix. But if you were going to buy a song from this album, I would only recommend using you money to buy Atmosphere.

Nice to see him sticking to his roots and continuing to make great house music. For the people giving the bad reviews, you dont have enough experience in house music, Avicii, guetta, calvin harris, those guys are sellouts.. This is real house music.

Exactly what dance music needed

First off, his album is fantastic! With that being said this album is also great for those brand new to the EDM scene. I remember listening to this genre at first thinking "how can someone listen to the same thing over and over again and think its amazing?" But this album gives you the best of both worlds. The upbeat house/trance bump to the slow melodic tracks that re-center you. In short, this album has it all! Well done sir, well done...

Been a kaskade fan ( BIG FAN) since I was in high school (1998). This album is a let down. Bored me. With all due respect is lacks his norm of solid lyrics and uptempo beats. Doesn't sound like him at all. Disappointed- and sad to say it.

Kaskade nailed it…. again. This album has something for everyone, and yet somehow it's a totally fluid and coherent experience. Kaskade shows that he knows where he comes from musically, and knows where this genre can go.

The Album itself is amazing! For exception of some intermission songs like "MIA to LAS" which for me kinda kills the vibe of the whole thing. All in all, the record is awesome! would recomend it to anyone!

I feel like I'm floating (pun half intended) in a calediscope of soft toned clouds that are moving gently down the ubiquitous stream of consciousness, allowing me to take from it's beauty and fill the holes in my soul. Really, this album makes me want to think about all my life and how happy I am that I'm just alive to hear it. I've been a fan of his for almost a decade.. I think this is him at it's finest. I can FEEL it. That's the first time in awhile I've felt this way about anything in this genre (and Fire & Ice was a massive dissapointment for me).

I love Kaskade's new album. Lot of deep house and also his Progressive House songs are amazing. I hope he comes to miami soon. Enjoy the new album guys!

This album is named quite literally after its theme. It's background music at a Euro yuppy party. I'm surprised I wasn't mailed a Valium with my purchase. It's dull and boring! Shame on you Kaskade!!!!!

Nothing exciting here. Very sleepy trancey stuff.Not danceable at all. No inspiration. I miss the days of Stars Align and Stepping Out.These sleepy female vocalists need to go. They put me to sleep. Get some more male vocalists and some bite to your music. The female vocalists are very boring and lifeless.Time to shake it up Kaskade.This just seems like a formula

Took him a few filler albums to get this one in there, but this entire album almost sounds like a 'best of' with all new tracks. Very diverse styles, all pulled off with super shiny production and sick sick melodies.

It is lacking a lot, definatley not the best album kaskade has released.

If you're waiting for "the drop," you will be disappointed. This is the Kaskade I remembered with beautiful vocals, deep house you can groove to, and just that emotional connection missing from most "EDM" these days. The man himself lends his vocals to the title track in what could be the dance song of the year in the latter half. Close your eyes, move your feet, and let the album take you on a ride.

WOW. What is with some of the negative reviews?! "This is too slow and boring for me". WHY don't you take a listen to Kaskade's music like his album Stroblite Seduction? Oh and in case you didn't know it's one of his earliest albums. This album stays true to his style, which in fact is very calming, I'm so glad he hasn't fallen into the mainstream group and is doing his own thing. SO FOR ALL YOU "Where's the drop?!" people, you need to do your research a little more or jump on some other bandwagon.
