Seriously I don't understand how this even got made. Everything about it screams pop grab...this makes my ears bleed. And that is before you even realize the lyrics sound like Taylor Swifts writing team wrote this. Its just trash.

Finally! Been waiting well over a year and can't wait for November 5 I was disappointed when she postponed the album, but the single is incredible!!! Somebody Loves Somebody, Water And A Flame, Thankful, Unfinished Songs (The original version) The whole album (Target Deluxe Version) is epic. Im a dedicated fan and she is definitely still my favorite and number 1.

Saw her a few yrs ago in Vegas & she was SUPERB...saw her again last yr & she was a shell of herself, totally going through the motions! And now THIS...downward spiral if I have ever seen one! Hate to see it, but trying to still be loyal...getting more difficult every year!

I love Celine Dion. She has been my favorite singer for a very long time. P!nk is #2, but mostly because of seniority. Anyway. . . someone on here asked, "Who is managing Celine's career?". I am asking the same question. These lyrics are not good. They sound like amateur lyrics. Maybe the album will be better. Ok... I wrote the first part of the review in all my pickiness. Loved Me Back To Life has grown on me beyond that I did a cover of it. The rest of the album has some of those songs with the lyrics that seem to be written by someone trying to translate the beauty of French to English. It doesn't always work. BUT... A bit BUT... This album is beautiful. The music is beautiful and had a lot of gems. I am in love with her, just like I am after every album. Seventeen is a big favorite. It seems so sincere and seems that the past feelings this queen had weren't always pleasant. Celine you're so beautiful I could cry. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is definitely one of the best albums I've heard. Her extraordinary voice makes it phenomenal! Worth the buy!

I do adore "Loved me back to life", but the rest of the album leaves me lukewarm, although I love her voice so much but remaking old songs she should not do, she is a vehicle for new songs, new authors and music writers need that. For me remaking songs is like cutting corners and with her caliber and reputation, I wish she would not do that.

Considering there is at best three really good songs, and maybe one or two hits, this is only a so so album for Celine. Best songs on the album are the duets with Neyo and Stevie Wonder. She's had better albums like Let's Talk About Love, or Falling Into You - THOSE deserve 5 stars, but not this album, not even close. This album is slightly better than her last flop of an effort in Taking Chances, but she is lacking real start power songs here.

It has to grow on me, I love when she sings ballads. Not enough ballads on this album. Not sure if I would run out and buy this one just yet. She's one of my all-time favorite singers, but this CD just didn't do it for me.

Great compilation of songs! Thanks Celine! Wish it hadn't taken 6 years. But it was worth the wait. I'm not sure what happened to pop music, but it doesn't really exist anymore. Rap and hip hop-Ick! But Celine saves the day! Many great songs on this album. Love it. "Taking Chances" is still my favorite album. But I highly recommend 'Loved Me Back to Life'!!

Finally a strong Celine English album since "A New Day." While her French albums have typically had edgier and a more sophisticated feel (both vocally and in content), several of her past Engllish albums have come out flat. The "Loved Me Back to Life" album is a breath of fresh air as Celine uses her voice in a unique yet more subdued way. My top five favorites from the album: 1) Somebody Loves Somebody 2) Didn't Know Love 3) At Seventeen 4) Water and a Flame 5) Save Your Soul

This isn't even recorded and mastered properly. Over-modulated. Such a major disappointment.

I haven’t purchased an album in years now simply bcuz there really isn’t any good music coming out that isn’t so full of mind control BS and singers that cannot seem to keep their clothes on or smoking pot on stage. HOWEVER, Celine always keeps it’s classy and delivers the BEST music always. She doesn’t require gimmicks to get your attention, her voice alone gets your attention. And this new album is one of Celine’s best!! As with all of Celine’s album’s every song is good and catches your attention BUT my favorite is, Loved Me Back Life, this has got to be one of Celine’s best ever released songs in her career. So good to see you back Celine!! CONGRATS on an outstanding album release! :)

Celine Dion is my all time idol. This record is horrible. She needs to work with David Foster again. I will see her on tour again but I hope she sings nothing from this album. For as long as it's been, I thought it would be perfection.

This lady never fails to inspire me. What a total class act. This is what pop music for grown ups sounds like.

Loved me back to life is AMAZING!!!

I was a little hesitant to buy this CD, but I am so happy that I did.. . There are some great melodies and the way she sings them are so melodious. I bought the CD at Target.. It has some extra songs,a cover of "How Do You Keep the Music Playing?", originally done as a duet, by Patti Austin and James Ingram.and Billy Joel's Lullabye. I'm glad I got the extra songs. I always loved "How..." and have hear Barbra do it, but this one is superb. One of my favorites is Water and the Flame, which; was also originally sung by Adele as a duet. I looked it up on Itunes and played the sample, but I honestly like Celine's better. The melody is just so different, cutting...The title song grabs you and the whole CD seems nontypical of Celine. There is a great cover of Janis Ian's painful, , At Seventeen. There are a lot of covers but I love them as well as the others. There is a duet with Stevie Wonder on Overjoyed, which again, I always loved the tune. The Billy Joel remake is lovely, too. I kind of think that maybe Celine wanted to copy Adele's style. I have many other recordings of Celine's, Falling Into You, which won the Grammy for Best Album, if I'm not mistaken. There are a couple of CDs that I didn't care for me as much. There are balads and faster songs. A great departure from Celine's usual.. .

This cd does not have a catchy tune on it. Very disappointing.

A couple days ago I really did not know who Celine Dion was untile I saw song about this album and I decided to check it out and boy I am glade I did. What I love about this album is that not only does she bring it as far the vocals go but the instrumentals, and topics she talks about is good as well. Other then about two songs this was a really good album and I can't wait to hear more what Celine has to offer in the future

Love love love the song but the shriek at 2:51 in "loved me back to life" does no justice to my ears. couldn't there have been a more smoother transition?
