This heavily ambient album is Beach House's Magnum Opus. It displays beauty in every song. Whether, it's the production of Legrand's vocals. I'm in awe of this album; one of the best albums ever made and qualifies as my all time-favorite album.

The fans have been waiting longer than what we are used to for this album and from what we have seen and heard from concert footage and interviews, this album might be the best yet. The wait was worth it, guys!

Since I'm just waiting around for this album to be released, I've written this review to say that I have no idea what it will be like.

I have listened to the full album already, and I can say that this album is as good, if not better, than their previous releases. Beach House never disappoints!

Just from hearing “Sparks”, I’m excited since it sounds like My Bloody Valentine and “Loveless” is one of the greatest albums ever.

So Bloom is one of my favorite albums ever, and I've been waiting in ANGST for Beach House to grace my life with new music. Sparks is insane! It has the same familiar Beach House airy vibes mixed with Ultraviolence era guitar and ecstasy. I'm really digging the direction Sparks has gone and can't wait for the full album to drop!!! THANK YOU BEACH HOUSE!!

This will be the best I never heard!!

If “sparks” is any indication of where this album is headed, I can’t wait to see them on tour and have the album on repeat all through this fall. It’s great to hear them embrace a more shoe-gazy, edgier, noise— which, when matched with their usual melodic beauty- equates to another “album of the year” in my book.

I've had the distinct pleasure of listening to the full album. Depression Cherry, is not depressing, nor does it disappoint. As one can tell from the single "Sparks" there are a few tracks that have an unexpected, but absolutely well implemented edge to them. From 10:37, and its sparse undulating tempo, to Sparks with its sinister, off kilter aggressive feel, Beach house has polished its signature sound to perfection while adding new tricks to their more mature sounding repertoire. Production value is top notch. Every track feels deliberate and well thought out. Make no mistake, while not as lo-fi of a sound as previous albums, it still feels organic and undoubtedly is the Beach house we all have grown to love. In my opinion, an absolute must buy, and one of the years best albums. Favorite tracks: (in no particular order) 10:37 -Slow, deliberate, sexy. Bluebird- love the bait and switch intro that seamlessly transitions into a smooth track with Victoria's buttery vocals Sparks- you've heard it. Beach house has a wide range of emotion packed into their catalog of music, but it's rare to hear something that sounds "mean" and they did it with style.

…because I’m part ninja and its incredible. No really. Its just what you would expect from a Beach House album. Patience is a virtue and BH fans will be rewarded.
