In the midst of their musical journey, Bondax's story unfolds with 2024 marking a significant chapter in their career. The duo, comprised of George Townsend and Adam Kaye, emerged onto the scene as teenagers, defying the notion of an overnight success. Their small-town beginnings in Lancaster, devoid of a bustling music scene, led them to collaborate and craft a unique vision. As they navigated the intricacies of electronic music, drawing inspiration from folk, indie, and experimental genres, they honed their skills and developed a distinctive sound. Venturing beyond their hometown, the duo explored Manchester's club scene, absorbing influences that shaped the Bondax sound. A pivotal moment during George's 17th birthday, witnessing Canadian bass-house producer Jacques Greene, contributed to the sensual, melodic, and post-dubstep elements that characterise their music. Bondax's tracks, boasting broad harmonies, unconventional structures, and thoughtful lyricism, defy genre norms. Notably, the duo introduced a compelling tempo element, deliberately slowing down their tracks, creating a sensual groove that stands apart from the faster pace of contemporary house music. Fast forward to 2023, Bondax resurfaces with a triumphant return, releasing music via Future Disco Label and gaining support from BBC 6, Spotify NMF, and international performances. The year 2024 proves to be a milestone, as Bondax celebrates their first-ever vinyl release and a momentous appearance at the iconic Ministry of Sound. Their highly anticipated album, "Journey," symbolises a decade-long exploration in the electronic music scene. Released on vinyl for the first time, the album features eight sensational singles, including "I Only Have You," "Don’t Want It," "Fade ft. SHELLS," "Yabaal To London” with Dur Dur Band," "Energy" featuring Andreya Triana, and the title track “Journey” featuring Mysie. These tracks, accompanied by remixes from acclaimed artists, have already made waves on 6Music playlists and received massive support on digital streaming platforms, setting the stage for the album's success.
