JPFM band is a rock fusion band from France! Influences: Funk, West coast, Blues, Hip-hop, Jungle French: JPFM Band n'est pas issu des rives boueuses du Mississipi, pas plus que d'un studio de San Francisco. C'est sur le sol parisien qu'est née en 1996 cette collaboration entre José Tagus qu’on a pu voir notamment aux côtés de Manu Dibango, et Jean-Pierre Venard, un pur autodidacte. La formation décrit son style comme de l'acid blues, un blues corrompu par les parfums funk, électro, trip-hop et lounge. Un dialogue original entre musiciens et samples, perpétrés par DJ Ewone célèbre pour ces soirées Real Flava organisées à Paris et Londres. ce style "smooth'n cool" est à consommer tranquillement, verre de whisky à la main feu de bois à portée des pieds...
