Sincerely Biography

Christian Bridges (Guitar) Bradley Lockhart (Bass) Sincerely is a groovy, instrumental, math-rock band from Detroit, Michigan, with roots in post-hardcore. Their debut EP, Sweet Talk, dropped in 2017, featuring instantly catchy tunes with lasting appeal, like “King Weather” and “Mermaid Mansion.” The five-song release quickly put them on the radar with indie and underground music groups, gaining attention on the local music scene and online through social media and forums. Fans across many musical genres have easily found a slice of style they enjoy in the band’s sound. The infectious, toe-tapping grooves are nearly impossible to deny. Sincerely has since secured a place for themselves in grassroots Detroit and post-hardcore music communities, regularly performing with regional and national touring acts and at festivals such as Bledfest and Concert of Colors. In between performances, they’ve been crafting exciting new tunes to share with the world. Their sophomore EP, Good Stuff, is set to release in Fall 2019. It promises to deliver a more polished rendition of their signature upbeat sound, exploring new directions and styles, while still serving up quality grooves. A higher level of intricacy in the songwriting and attention to nuance shows off a maturity in the band’s style since their first release. Recorded and produced in New Jersey at Timber Studios by Adam Chichocki and mastered by Mike Kalajian at Rogue Planet Mastering, the new album harnesses Sincerely’s creativity and sonic storytelling with intricate hooks and complex melodies. The first single from Good Stuff, “Glazey,” with its heavy progressions, nostalgic ambiences and catchy chorus, is a perfect preview of what’s to come.
