Growing up in the 1960's / 70's Steve was surrounded by fantastic music (George Harrison being Steve's favourite artist). Steve's first live gig, was with the College based Band "Vendetta" in 1974. Other Bands Steve was involved with during the 1970's were: Oasis 74 -77 then Black Sloth 77 - 78. Black Sloth's live recording of 'I'm The Greatest' can be listened to on Spotify. Steve was a self taught guitar player, using the Beatles Complete song book as guide to learning basic chords. The first batch of songs included: 'Standing All Alone' and 'Coming Home' with his first studio recording session taking place in 1981, at Paul Wards Gawcott Studio. Since that session Steve has recorded over 90 songs in several studio's either as a solo artist or with Doug Hearn and their Band "The Kez". In 2014 Steve collaborated with Pete Trewavas of Marillion, Cats star Chrissie Hammond and Robin Boult for the charity single "Rock 'n' Roll Circus". Steve went on to record several more songs with Chrissie and Robin , under the pseudonym " Old Town Blues Band" .
