In the Air Tonight? Not only are the remaster an "editon" of fun but the EDITION will make your ears melt with pure classic Collins hits.

Absolutely masterful. Perhaps his best album, definitely on par with Genesis' best albums of the era, "Duke" and "Abacab". For those docking their rating by a star due to the misspelling of "edition", come on. Do you really think Phil Collins had anything to do with the misspelling of "edition" here? Be real. This is iTunes' doing; so give it the five stars it deserves.

Truth be told, I did not buy the whole album, only the B-sides, but I am giving it 5 stars because the album itself is Phil’s first step into a roaring solo career. Best part of this album for any true PC fan is hearing the demos. Especially my personal favorite, Please Don’t Ask. Great hearing Roof is Leaking Live too, another fave.

Fans of the Genesis remasters will feel at home with the quality of this collection. From "In the Air Tonight" straight through "Tomorrow Never Knows" the crispness of the remasters never falter. The extras contain a mix of live tracks and "B" sides. My personal favorites are the live version of "In the Air Tonight" and the inclusion of "...And So To F." Great start to Phil's remastered collection! We've waited a long time for these. Thank you Phil!

I'm with "cellardrops" who points out that "Edition" is misspelled. And why do only one in eight find that review helpful? And how long will it take iTunes to fix such a basic mistake?

Awesom sound quality on this remaster, but the gems of this release are the demos. WOW! Eric Clapton on the demo of "The Roof is Leaking" is pure genius, yet subtle. Be prepared for poor quality on some of the demo's because they were originally recorded on a cassette recorder.

Now this is great Phil Collins, not the crappy Phil Collins doing Disney soundtracks and big band music. This "Face Value" deluxe edition is a must have.

Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist.

I am 30 years old and I love his music. I am an EMT and my Co-workers and I love his music and always jam to it on the radio. Collins has a gift. He can put things into words better than anyone.
