nmswac - Waitress

That’s is such a great soundtrack! 😍😍😍

Crazy Musical Guy - Amazing

Awesome album and musical both were hilarious and heart warming ❤️

Sydney_Red - Spectacular!

This show is absolutely amazing and this album is bound to be as well. "She Used to Be Mine" is such a beautiful song. Can't WAITress for the rest.

ouatloverjanfkdbska - eh

ok maybe I'm just used to Sara's voice on her soundtrack, but the voices sound too peppy. the notes are drawn out enough in parts where it should (in my opinion). the notes are short. I'm sure it sounds amazing live, but the voices do not blend well on this recording.

Philipé the great! - Amazement

This show is outstanding. Not only does it tell the story prominently through the songs by themselves, but it is able to move anyone who has a heart to tears! Simply in the opening you get the writers flare on the musical as a whole! I say A+ Broadway, we found another hit!

alainabaker - 'so pure so electric'

This broadway cast recording is a reminder of the beauty that is live theater - the emotion is palpable and the harmonies are extraordinary. The album takes you on an emotional journey and that is so rare and the story it tells is so important. Jesse Mueller's talent is unmatched and this album is further proof of that. Sara Bareillis composed a beautiful score; you will be thankful for all that this album is.

TooTallJones - HORRIBLE QUALITY

Great show. Great songs. Was very excited for this album but whomever was in charge of engineering the tracks messed up! The voices crackle so much and it completely ruins the experience. It sounds like you have your volume turned up too loud- that kind of crackle (no matter how loud the volume is).

morriv68 - Brilliant Cast and Score

The music and performances have captured the heart and soul of the 2007 film. I can't make it to Broadway to see this, but this is the next best thing. I am in tears after listening to it the first time. Thank you!

Wicked-green - Amazing Show, Beautiful Performances

I have to say, the sound on this track available right now is extremely studio. It sounds very produced and not nearly as raw as seeing the show live. Not my favorite cast recording, but the music of this show is so beautiful, funny, and inspiring.

-/:;(wormy)$&@" - Best show ever, best music ever

I've seen Waitress twice and it is absolutely the most amazing show i've seen. The scores Sara Bareilles has written is so beautiful, and mixing the music with the great show ,that Waitress is, is pure magic. I can't WAITress to see the show for a third time!!

veila22 - Nice studio recording, but see it live!

When I saw this in NYC, I was staggered by the amazing performance and eagerly waited for the original cast recording. I'm very happy to have this, and have been listening to it non-stop, especially "What Baking Can Do", which was a change from "Door Number Three" on Sara Bareilles' Waitress album (which I also love). However, if you haven't seen this live, go see it! Seeing the emotions and choreography really add to the performances. I love Ogie's character but I didn't enjoy the studio recording of "Never Ever Getting Rid of Me" and "I Love You Like a Table" as much as seeing it live. (There's a YouTube video of a rehearsal of that second song, just in case you are curious.) His character is really hilarious and lovable. Then Jessie Mueller's performance of "She Used To Be Mine" moved me to tears live. Also, just as a note, I flip back and forth on whether I prefer Sara's or the Broadway version of the songs. I did listen to Sara's "What's Inside" before seeing it live, then obsessively listened to her album again before this cast recording release as a Waitress fix. While I love Sara, I had really enjoyed "When He Sees Me" and "Never Ever Getting Rid of Me" more in the show. Then, after listening to her album again for a month between the show and this release, I was surprised that I got so used to Sara's performance of it again. They are slightly different takes on the songs, but wonderful in their own ways.

Ace111087 - New favorite

My new favorite Broadway show. Not only is it written but Sara Bareilles, but it's leading lady reflects her music perfectly and brings this story to life in a way that makes me smile everytime I hear it. Great final product. If you like this, Check out Sara Bareilles album that introduces these songs!

uuytggu - OH MY GOOOOOOD

OOOOOOOOOOOOOH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

myana001 - Best show in years!

Just saw this show, and the music is amazing. I love the score and I listen to it over and over! Must hear and see!

Ittybittyqueen - Yes!!!!!! OMG

I’m late, I know. All the other reviews are from a year ago. This musical is beautiful. It’s a hidden gem, and Jessie Mueller, Kimiko Glenn, and Keala Settle (sorry if I spelled the names wrong) have amazing voices. There are no words for how much I love this. Oh, I LOVE when they’re singing “bad idea” and Jenna shouts “You’re my doctor!” It’s the most beautiful sound in the world.

C.C003 - My new Musical addiction

The songs hit close to the heart with great lyrics and vocals. It will hopefully go down in Broadway history as one of the greats.

Cal Buzz - Served with a Smile

A fantastic album as well as a fantastic show. It's unfortunate the Broadway show closed, but if it tours near you go and do yourself a favor and see it! It's funny, sad, and real. Great entertainment for the all baked into a yummy musical!

My name is hello how r u - Jake

Absolutely loved this musical with all of my being, it was definitely the best I've seen in a while. The music is just breathtaking

Waitress lover - Better than HAMILTON

BEST SHOW ON BROADWAY NOW. HAVEN'T SEEN ANYTHING BETTER IN YEARS. SO SAID THAT THIS SPETACULAR SHOW IS CLOSING:(

Ensemb-lover - ❤️

This is so beautiful I'm so glad it's out!!!

Nniphone - Kimiko Glenn

Love this soundtrack. Especially, Kimiko's parts! Love 'When He sees me'!

ermaho2 - DIVINE !

Jessie Mueller is a good ft from the gods !

Meggrz1234 - Friggin amazing!

I saw the show and was blown away and couldn't wait for this to come out. It's perfect. Jessie Mueller is beyond amazing!!! Definitely recommend to anyone who loves Broadway and an amazing show and soundtrack!

rossycohen - 999/10 would recommend!

Wow! This show is so good! The music beautifully creates Jenna's tragically enlightening story! Everyone can relate to these heart piercing songs! Please buy this album!!!

schmadrick - Sorry, no.

Huge Sara fan. (Saw her twice in twelve hours a few years back.) Loved her singing these songs. But I don't like the singers on this Original Broadway Cast Recording. Most of my dislike goes towards the lead character's voice: reedy, thin and hollow. (But then, Sara sets such a high standard.) And I really don't like some of the songs that were added. I'd love to see Sara on stage in the lead.

Bobby Hannafey - Love it!!!!!!!!

The music is awesome!!!

MauiBoy - Crude and vulgar

After listening to Sara B's rendition of this album (which I thoroughly enjoyed), I had high hopes; but, this is just vulgarities sung to similar music. I guess this is what passes for entertainment on Broadway these days.

nathansyndrome - THIS

...Is what Broadway is all about! Just fantastic!

Jets327 - One of the best

Jessie Mueller is amazing and her voice plus everyone on this album are angels and have the voices of them :)))

lilims673782 - It could have been better.

There's no doubt that this is a good piece of work. The music is good and the actors are incredible. However, the emotion that is on stage is missing at times on the album. I also wish that some of the lyrics had not changed. They were better before.

hamichael - Listen repeatedly, listen loud!

If you listen to this recording over and over again, you will love it. The songs are so catchy and fun. The vocals are great. It is most enjoyable on a car ride with the volume turned all the way up! One listen to the bridge in "What Baking Can Do" and you will be hooked!

boring bishes - I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT

Dude this musical is my lifeeeeee

Lawaaaa - Perfect

I like every single song on this soundtrack. Each song is perfect and wonderful and the show is so good. Everyone should see this show in person!

Nicolettahere😝😝😝😝 - Utterly gorgeous.

This show is a stunning masterpiece— from the complex, metaphorical lyrics and deliciously driven melodies, to the hilariously heartwarming and unique story of friendship, love, and motherhood. The sets, the songs, the acting, the script... everything in this show twists and folds and bakes perfectly into a beautiful pie. Clearly the best thing in musical theatre we’ve seen yet.

andrew11 - Obsessed!

This show is so amazing! Go see it while all of these talented people are still playing their original roles!

Izzieb. - Amazing! Love it!

The cast explains it all!!! Beautiful musical!

dallygirl1926 - Missing emotion

I wish that they would have let Jessie Mueller do her thing on this recording. The show is so emotional, and Jessie is amazing in it. They over produced all the emotion out of these songs. "She Used To Be Mine" is by far the worst offense. Jessie breaks your heart in the live production.

A Stirring Musical, AMAZING. - Waitress

What an incredible show. Fantastic album!! Jessie Mueller is phenomenal.

La Silver - Waitress The Musical Sountrack

Sara Bareilles is "Attention's Sweet Center" Waitress the musical is chock full of pearls And gems and lots of lovin' too. Jessie Mueller has such a dreamy way of telling her story. I can feel her eyes close with the intensity of her voice. Keala Settle and Kimiko Glenn are perfect gal pals, but they each have their "tell it like it is" moment. Having listened to Sara's "What's Inside" all winter I thought I was prepared for the show. It was so much more. The colors, the flavors all wrap you up and take you for a joyous ride. So...getting the soundtrack first thing this morning, I was once again surprised at how quickly I was back at the diner in my mind and singing from my soul. I can go on and on but I'd rather you just listen. "Sugar, Butter, Flour."......You'll eat it up!!!

I HAVE A QUESTION PLZ - WHAT

YEAH OKAY SO I preordered this and it won’t download into my music?????

DiannaluvsElla - Waitress Soundtrack

The play was awesome. I love Sara Bareilles’ music and HAD to buy the CD! I love it!!!

bcde99 - Perfect

Perfect

livingformusic - Lack of Detail

Love SARA Bareilles, this show and her music! but lack of detail and respect as her name is spelled wrong in the description. "Sarah" instead of "Sara"

Myself and the Other One - 😁😁😁

I have been waiting for this album since about this time last year, and I love "Songs from Waitress" that Sara Bareilles released (in fact, I'm listening to it right now!). I love Sara and this album is as spectacular as everything else she has done. Also, props to the amazing cast for putting their heart and soul and AMAZING vocals into these songs! My goal in life is to be as talented as Jessie Mueller (yes, I know it's unachievable, but it's worth a shot!).

KiahK<3 - AMAZING

I love it! I have been waiting for this for so long long, but it was definitely worth the wait! This is just so beautiful! The music is fantastic and the story is so moving! I have been listening all day! It is definitely worth buying and I would recommend it to anyone considering it!

Sephirwow - Delightful

I believe this cast recording to be a wonderful take-away from Waitress, a new musical on Broadway. Sara Bareilles has a knack for tapping into the intricacies of complex emotions in her music, and her first foray into musical theatre composition is no exception. By setting Adrienne Shelley's 2007 film by the same name to music, she is able to explore the depth of these charming and multi-layered characters in a small southern town. The cast recording features talents like Jessie Mueller, Kimiko Glenn, Christopher Fitzgerald, and Keala Settle. The women of this recording truly shine in their respective numbers as they weave in and out of Jenna Hunterson's journey in picking up the pieces of her life as it has fallen around her after learning she is pregnant. This is now one of my favorite musical theatre albums. If you enjoy Sara Bareilles and her music, you will adore the Waitress cast recording. It is like a pie. It does not change the world or the game it is playing, but it has a clear purpose in mind, and it serves it faithfully while being wholly delicious.

Razbell - Sara Bareilles+ Broadway= FINALLY!!!

I have been dreaming of a Sara Bareilles stage musical since I fell in love with her in sixth grade...let me just tell you Waitress does not disappoint. Quirky, funny, artistic...any Sara Bareilles' fans dreams. Jessie Mueller is stunning and has the perfect tone quality for this type of music. Needless to say, it's on loop in my car.

 - Waitress

This musical is such an amazing story with great actors, amazing vocals, amazingly written characters. Hearing the soundtrack recorded is amazing and I'm so glad it came out now because I couldn't go a single day longer without it.

jfoxy - Some of the best musical music EVER

This musical offers you so much variety in the types of music you hear, but still forms a cohesive story. Simply amazing. I will have this on repeat forever

camelliayaoyao - So good

Sara Bareilles is a genius
