I first read the novel based on the play and then got the soundtrack, and I LOVE it! The soundtrack is so inspiring and I get tearful whenever I listen to it!!!

I have not seen the musical but the music is the best music i have ever heard. SO GOOD

If you haven’t seen Dear Evan Hansen, watch it now. Then come back and buy the soundtrack. The music is phenomenal. I’ve seen the show two times now and by the time Words Fail comes, I’m sobbing my eyes out. Everything about DEH just changes a person. It’s such a sad, heavy topic but is still full of heart and funny. The soundtrack, however, won’t make sense unless you watch the musical or read the script first. Most of the music won’t make sense unless you watch/read the musical. But yes, totally buy it if you are into musicals or just really want some good music to listen to. It’s really good, I’m telling you.

I think that Laura Dreyfus has dazzled us once again. This song is the reason I tried DEH (Dear Evan Hansen) for the first time. It has led me to many amazing musicals (Be More Chill, Heathers etc.) and might I add that this has warmed my heart. Thank you for this amazing musical, and you too rebels who read this.

This musical has good music and an even better plot I just don’t understand all the hype.

I was lucky enough to see this show in early previews at Arena Stage, and let me just say, I was beyond blown away. Being a person eho struggles with social anxiety, I relate to this soundtrack on a personal level that I now know some other people do as well. I now currently own the movie soundtrack (on CD) the OBCR (Original Broadway Cast Recording) on cd as well and also on vinyl. I am absolutely obsessed (probably in an unhealthy way). Love this album! ps @emmaloowho17 You clearly do not know what true emotion is.

What a fantastic show. You will laugh and cry, all at the same time. A beautiful concept, perfectly performed. Saw it in Minneapolis. Great cast, music, story, songs...it’s just incredible. You wont be able to stop thinking about the story. You will rush out to purchase the album as soon as you leave the show.

Dear Evan Hansen has always been one of my favorites. Makes me heart nut. It’s wonderful rep of mental illness, toxic characters or not. The songs are usually pretty relaxing too.

I started using it as background music for drawing and immediately noticed how well the music was written and how amazing the musical was. I related to this musical on a deep emotional level and it’s helped me out of some rough mental breakdowns, as someone who suffers from anxiety and suicidal thoughts, this musical is really my comfort musical. I recommend it highly as it’s a great introduction if your just getting into musicals. Anyway, remember You Are Not Alone! -Sincerely Me
