They have none of the charm or wimsy from other jazz arrangments of Bach, and they have none of the classical arranging chops to recast them in another classical context. And the textures get muddled to the point where you can't really focus on any of the voices. The tight jean Starbucks chattering class will go just ga-ga over this. But the informed community that actually like music, and the the music of Bach will just pass over this. -Bz

Jusy buy it.....at this point you all could cover Tiny Tim's greatest hits and I'd buy it and I would enjoy it. I know, that's pushing it, but I can't wait for this album. The chemisty these guys have is aparent on The Goat Rodeo Sessions, except minus Duncan on this one. If you haven't heard it, it's a must listen. This too is a must buy.
