Okay I’ve now listened to the entire album and as a person who loves both country and pop here’s what I think: this is not a country album, it’s pop. Yes it does have maybe hints of country because he seems to have a little bit of an accent and the instrumental piece can be a little country at times. Overall I think it’s still a very nice album and while I love real country music too, I think if you like country/pop mixture this would be good for you. If you don’t like pop then don’t listen to it simple as that.

This was my son’s favorite, he passed away March 2020 but before he did my son sang some of his songs to me and now whenever I think of him I listen to Kane and it makes me feel as if he’s here.
