"I like me better when I'm with you." is a great start toward a feel great tune for the summer. There are a few other decent tunes on this album. However, there is way too much repetition of the lyrics during certain songs, and the background arrangement or beat seems wayyyyy to similar from some songs to others, way to repetitive to make the album stick. Just not enough originality from song to song, from singing style, cadence, and tenor of the songs. Having said this, he has a great voice and should pursue more collaborations outside the comfort zone, R & B, Country, etc.

I’m so sad I didn’t listen to him sooner. I found The Other back in 2015, but I never looked into Lauv and his music up until this year. WHAT A MAN. His music is amazing and he’s such an inspirational young man. Love love love. I would recommend him to anyone.
