Psychedelic yet melodic. I enjoyed it from the first time I listened to it. Hard to categorize it other than to say it sounds comforting throughout. Was not familiar with the group until I saw them perform on SNL . Liked what I heard so took a chance and purchased this - am glad that I did.

I don't know if I was just in my synthpop stage at the time, but man, this album was one of the greatest first-time experiences I've ever had in my history of listening to music. Normally, it takes several listens of an album for me to properly give it a rating. It's very, very rare that I listen to an album for the first time and fall in love with every single track on it instantly. I'm mostly a hip-hop lover but I'm definitely the kind of guy who is always open to listen to something out of my lane, and this was definitely an unforgettable experience for me.

this album is amazing like actually amazing of course the less i know the better is so good but i love every single song on here as soon as i heard it i was dying to get it on vinyl and ever since i got it it’s been on repeat this album helped me trough some tough times if anyone is considering buying this album and reading this you need to buy it it’s so amazing every song is a journey that you need to take i wish i could go back to when i first listened because that initial listen will change you forever. p.s. kevin if you’re reading this i love you and thank you for this album

Classic, fantastic from start to finish

Amazing album

Just a spectacular album from front to back. To me, it transports me to sunny, Southern California in the 1970s, driving along the coast, right at sunset (even though I wasn’t alive most of that decade, nor have I ever lived there). Sounds like maybe if Pink Floyd experimented with a dance-pop record. Love the blend of repetitive dance beats and sonic rock sounds.

I have gone too long without hearing this. I passed it over I don’t know why. But this is just great music. Check it for yourself. I fell in love immediately upon hearing “borderline” and I knew I couldn’t pass on this album when I saw how many sexy videos they had. Lol my goodness- well I appreciate the honesty. Sex and music the greatest things on earth.

“This is the greatest album of all time” - Aristotle. This album has done more than you can imagine for me, I hope it does the same for those who listen to it. Kevin Parker is truly a genius and I even pre ordered The Slow Rush which comes out soon, because I know it will be the second best album of all time.

Hands down one of the best modern albums to date. Kevin Parker is a master of crafting incredible music that’s relatable, engaging, and beautiful.
