I love how people say "21 Savage improved so much on this album!" He may have improved but that doesn't mean he still isn't awful, since the bar was already so low. Even at his best, he is still absolutely terrible! It's pretty sad when someone impersonating you on youtube actually sounds better than you do.

And why am I one of the only, if not THE only review on either? The two albums are nearly identical, the only difference being that the main (non-deluxe) one is stylized with a nice theme and a description, but the deluxe is completely blank and un-stylized and default white, but has a second part to the song “out for the night”. The actual “out for the night” is unchanged, it’s not called part one or anything and it it’s identical. Every single other song is there in both albums with the same name and length for the same price, except for “out for the night pt 2” in the deluxe version. The whole album is the same price overall for both, and they were released on the same day of the same month of the same year, and are both the explicit version. I can not possibly see any possible explanation for this.

21 Savage has been somebody I've talked about for a while, and this is his magnum opus. If you give this a 0 and call it mumble rap, just know that you're missing out while you listen to "real rap". a lot is a bone chilling song that won a Grammy, amazing song. Features are top grade, and 21 himself sounds a lot more interested and hopeful on this, his lyrics have gotten so much better, and the topics he raps about are way more mature. The production is dark, grimy, and perfect. I loved all the songs, even the silly ones like a&t. 21's best work to date and one of the best 2018 albums.
