I genuinely do not see the craze about this artist. I genuinely enjoy Trap hip-hop as well as the lyrical boom BAP stuff, I can get into Young Thug and Lil Uzi just as much as I can get into Wu-Tang clan and Griselda. But I feel like Roddy Rich is just so boring. He doesn’t do anything better than any other artist. I feel like there’s nothing that he does that’s above average. Anything that he does that’s even decent, someone else does way way way better. It also seems like he’s just a combination of 3 other big rappers. Like he’s not original. I genuinely don’t understand the hype about him, when I think of boring rappers to listen to, he’s one of the first that comes to mind.
