I used to have this CD back in 2002 and it cracked a few years later. Then a lot of the unreleased songs on it I could never hear again because of the VAULT they kept her music locked up in for 20 years! It’s so good to hear these songs again, and hear her voice, and how her music still fits into the style of music today so effortlessly. She was ahead of her time! And I’m grateful we finally get to listen her gift again.

And give us back Aaliyah. Amen.

@Bigboy1998, her music was held back from streaming because of a dispute between her Uncle, who ran her record company, and her Mom who managed her and controls her estate. It wasn’t just Aaliyah it was the whole Blackground catalog that’s been in limbo ever since she died so a whole new distribution deal had to be done

This is a Immaculate Compilation album. Timeless, rich, and making a comeback. I would prefer and had hoped for the red flower cover like the original US edition was but this cover is from over seas and it’s not too bad. The early 2000s are definitely hitting hard this go round.
