I honestly had mixed emotions about the first of the new singles “ABSURD” , like it better now but still not 100% sure. Hard Skool is in the other hand exactly how I wanted GNR to sound in 2021. Great track. I’m afraid that today’s Axl won’t be able to give the song Justice in the live settings tho. He seems to lost most of his rasp and that’s what the chorus is about.

This 2nd new song kinda has a “Crash Diet” vibe & feel to it. Like a tale of despair. Nice intro too.

This is what a classic guns song sounds like. I immediately started smiling while head banging and thinking wow they still got it. Can’t wait for the new record!!!!!!

This comes as a surprise! I can’t tell if it’s new music or a release of an old GnR tune but Axl sounds in great form and it could be a cut right off Appetite for Destruction. I will be interested, if a new cut, to see who is still in the band.

I aware this song 3.5 stars. Eh screw it. 3 stars on the hearing scale.

I bought this because I'll always pay for new music from my favorite artists. That said, the "Hard School" demo is 100x superior to this mess. Josh Freese, Tommy Stinson, Robin Finck, and Buckethead shine at their respective moments. This version, contrarily, has worse bass and drumming by a country mile. Slash's work is acceptable until it's vastly inferior to The Great Chickened One at you hit the outro. The latter half does have a sort of nice B-52s pop quality but it won't save it. It's a shame what this band has become.

Almost all the way back to their traditional sound! One of the greatest bands in history and us fans missed out on 30 years of what could’ve been amazing music. Hopefully time healed old wounds and we can get a few albums of that unmistakable GNR vibe that was so missed.

It has a nice old school vibe in the modern era. The changes from the Chinese Democracy demo are good.

Much Better Song, Remembering Why I Loved This Band 30 Years Ago

It’s better than their other “Absurd” release, but it doesn’t hold up to anything on their first album.

Forget “Absurd” — THIS is the return of Guns N’ Roses! Love the chorus. Axl’s voice sounds as vicious as ever paired with Slash’s solos. The “Layla-esque” side quest seemed a little weird, but I’ll take it. I haven’t been this excited about new music since GN’R released “You Could Be Mine” in 1991 to promote Terminator 2 (before the Use Your Illusion albums came out). Can’t wait for the new album!

This song is amazing, it takes me back to when I was a kid. Axl, Duff, & Slash are back making great music again.

Really great new song was totally surprised considering how absurd ‘absurd’ was. A greatly produced 90s style rock song, a pleasant listening experience, unlike that previous single (what the heck was that??). I was also hoping for a full NEW album but nope only 4 song album in January and only hard skool and absurd are the new ones on it, we want more new... good new stuff, like this please. Oh and I wished this had been released last year... it would have been perfect on the bill and Ted face the music soundtrack j stead of weezer! Oh well
