I love good rock songs, and these girls are rockin'!!!!

One of Heart's best albums ever! In addition to the hits usually mentioned, my favorites are Sylvan Song/Dream of the Archer (I have the tracks joined in my iTunes). Beautiful and Haunting, an absolute gem often overlooked.

to some people a boy listening to heart may sound wierd, but i really like them, and i give em props for stickin with all the other insane classic rockers

Little Queen, along with Dog and Butterfly is probably Heart's best album. They successfully avoided the sophomore jinx and put together an album of great hard rock and folk. One person gave this a "1-star" review and it turns out it's a Sarah Palin fan mad that the Wilsons think she's an idiot and didn't want her using "Barracuda" in her campaign.. In my view, their opinion of Ms. Palin should add an extra star to this set if anything.

Heart is an amazing band graced with two of the best women (sisters) in Rock. The Wilson sisters defined a powerful duo for females in Rock. Barracuda is a powerhouse Rock song with Ann's vocals and Nancy's guitar. Little Queen has many cool songs with the fresh Heart vibe blooming! These Little Queens have become the QUEENS OF ROCK to my ears.

i love all heart, but little queen is one of my favorite albums... and my favorite song (as you could tell from my username)! i almost got to see them in concert, but i missed it! i missed the best female guitar genius (nancy) and the best female singer (ann)!!! >:0 click yes if you think heart is, like, 100x better than hannah montana, the jonas brothers, and selena gomaz!

This song reached my peack of interest. It's different. not only is the singer a female but she tends to have a strong voice that i know most singers can not mach up to. I say I want more!

I wore this album out when I was a 19 year old kid. Now I'm 50, and this album is timeless. Ann and Nancy Wilson are the absolute Queens when it comes to rock, and they are still out there, not merely sounding as good as they did 30+ years ago, but even better. How do these wonder women do it? They put the singers who cover their songs ( Fergie, Carrie Underwood and Wynonna) to shame.

This is the ladies at their rock goddess peak and yes Roger absolutely deserves credit as being a core member of the band. I was sorry to see him go and also their change to go to pop tunes in their latter success. When they were rock gods.... Is there a better rock hook than Barracuda?

I'm buying Heart songs today. Because , 1. they are great songs and 2. They stood up for what they believed in and weren't pushed around by the idea of more money! and someone co-opting their song for a political stance so opposite of what they believe in! So Yeah! Rock on Ann, Rock on Nancy!! Barracuda is an awesome song and I hated hearing it connected with that other crap.

how can you not love Heart! they're legends, not to mention they're songs.

You know Heart was not a Duo. Roger wrote and played the amazing guitar on Barracuda. This was one the best LPs Heart ever did and it would not have been so without Roger Fishers guitar. It is really disappointing to see all his contributions go unrecognized and see all of the credit go to the girls. Check the song credits on the LP’s Roger co-wrote most of the big hits on the first 3 Heart albums, but today he receives none of the credit, how sad. He should at least get his props here.

The other reviewers are right: This totally rocks & rolls. The album is beautifully crafted -- and timeless: still one of my favorites 30 years later. Ann and Nancy, you and the rest of your band were awesome -- and still are. THANKS!

Can't really decide between Dreamboat Annie, Little Queen, and Dog and Butterfly as my favorite Heart record. Barracuda is one of the greatest rock songs ever imo. The Wilson sisters are supremely talented, but I also agree with a previous reviewer that Roger Fisher was a key component in the band, and doesn't get the credit he deserves. Michael Derosier was a powerhouse on drums too. I love his playing on Barracuda. I appreciate Ann and Nancy's talents as much as anyone, but the band was never the same once Roger and Michael were gone. I had this record on vinyl and used to listen to it from the first song through to the last. Can't recommend it enough. Great music.

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL AWESOME VERSION. I AM SO HAPPY THEY PLAYED IT WHEN SARAH PALIN WAS ELECTED TO RUN WITH JOHN MCCAIN! SHE IS A BARRACUDA! ANYWAYS, STUPID FERGIE ALWAYS TRIES TO COPY IT AND MAKE BOYS THINK SHES HOT. DREAM ON!

Another awesome album from the 70's. a great album. the best songs in the cd are Sylvan Song, Kick It Out, Little Queen,Say Hello, and the very best Barracuda. ( Fergie has been signing this song also)
