Kirbyrox - Great song

To Ben Pello lil wayne is the best in that song

Muppeto - LUDA!

Ludacris's verse in this song is nasty. His rhymes are probly the best in the game next to nas, and you can deffinitvily say that Khaled did a good job with recruting for the remix. Also, Weezy did his thing too.

Tha Supplier - Best Remix In A While

Young Jeezy 4/5 pretty good Ludacris 5/5 Killed it best verse Busta Rhymes 4.5/5 He was excellent Big Boi 4/5 he was hood with that verse, how he flowed so fast Lil Wayne 3.5/5 Sure not his best compared to the rest of the stuff hes done but decent Fat Joe 3.5/5 average Birdman 3/5 i wasnt feelin it that much but ok Rick Ross 4/5 he showed some major characteristics of a boss big ups and im from MIA so stay loyal

lakeland prodigy - booooo

this guy is an insult to music

Yung Rypie - SHUT THE HELL UP DJ KHALED!!!

the song is good but seriously shut up!! you r just ruining the song dj khaled!! next song shut up o.k.

goldvolleyballer - HORRIABLE!!

This song is the worst song I have ever heard!! The worst language and mostly all rap. Some may like this but. . . if you like the song stick to the orignal!! (much better)

Swagreninja - Wow!

How many features could you have on a song?

WooHoo17 - DJ Khaled-I’m So Hood (Remix)

This track is the remix of the second single off of producer DJ Khaled’s second studio album, We The Best. The original featured Fat Joe, Rick Ross, and Plies, and was produced by The Runners. This remix also includes production by the runners. The guest appearances on this remix are T-Pain, Young Jeezy, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Big Boi, Lil Wayne, Fat Joe, Birdman, and Rick Ross. Here is my verse-by-verse review: T-Pain 4.5\5-T-Pain performs another great hook. It is also on the original. But in this one, he leaves out the bridge, which makes this almost as good. Young Jeezy 5\5-This is a really great opener verse, The flow is great, and the lyricisizium is very strong too. This is one of the best verses I’ve heard fro Jeezy. Ludacris 5\5-Luda performs a really excellent verse on this remix, and is definitely the best verse of the song. The flow is really great. This isn’t the only time Ludacris has done something this great. Busta Rhymes 4.5\5-As usual great/ Busta Rhyme’s flow is solid as usual and his rapping is very unique, though it a bit reminds me of T.I. Big Boi 5\5-Second best verse, and anther solid flow. I didn’t expect OutKast to do anything on this remix before I heard it, and Andrea 3000 would have been pretty strange too. Anyway, I love OutKast and this is a very good verse. Lil Wayne 4\5-Weezy has a pretty solid verse. His flow was a bit slow, but it will grow on you major. Yes, I’ve heard better from him but this isn’t bad. Fat Joe 2.5\5-This has the weakest flow on the track. He had such a good flow in Make it Rain, now comparing it to that it is bad. But it’s still decent. A birdman 3\5-Worst lyric on the track, and the flow is week too. Birdman can do better. Rick Ross 4\5-Ross does pretty good on this verse. Though its not his best, its Ross so it is as usual great. Worst verses: 9. Fat Joe 8. Birdman 7. Lil Wayne 6. Rick Ross 5. T-Pain 4. Busta Rhymes 3. Young Jeezy 2. Big Boi 1. Ludacris Final Thoughts: I’m So Hood has one of the best remixes of the year. The beat is amazing, and the verses are strong and have great flows. I will admit that the great flow and lyricisizium dies down in the end of the verse, but these are all great artists and almost none of them have bad verses. So not that the other artists didn’t have solid verses, but if it weren’t for T-Pain, Young Jeezy, Ludacris, Busta Ryhmes, and Big Boi this would of gotten a four. I highly recommend this remix.

HappyGurrl - Eww

This song is so stupid...

hiphopmusic96 - Better than the Original

This song is HOT! Khaled pulled some of the hottest rappers today into one song. Nice work.

nanita0302 - ehh...

umm... okay... i dont get it. whats so great about it? its a good song but WHOOP DEE DOO.

Goldmember321 - Fat People

This song is a bunch of fatties rapping

bdrtechgeek24 - yeah right

so baisclly this song has no content that is even close to making sense. especially because Khaled keeps saying "we the best" in everthing he is ever been in, it clearly is not the best. remix has barely any good points but not many. in short why was this even produced?

baller 03 - yah

song sounds good everyone in the song rips their part

bball4mo - Im so Hood

1.Luda( earn my stripes like i played wit the bengals) best 4 sho 2.Weezy(Im eatin like a big dog im so full) should've been longer though 3 Busta bust (dooby rap head lol) 4 Jeezy bring his best every time( pockets so fat it dont mean no sense) 5. Big Boi big boi from outkast( whoop whoop do it twice) 6 B man (Martin Luther King) 7 Fat Jo' Im sorry man that verse is so borin 8 Rick Ross Horrible stay in the first one

Ben Pello - Great song

My order is 10. Dj khaled- just die already 9. T-pain- doesnt have a verse i dont count him 8. Fat joe- i hate to say anybody was bad in this song but he was the worst 7. Lil wayne- surprisingly almost as bad as fat joe... Cmon weezy u can do better 6. Birdman- this didnt surprise me haha hes just not the best rapper 5. Big boi- i love outkast but hes not the same without andre 4. Rick ross- honestly pretty good 3. Young jeezy- this was just great i mean where the versea go from good to great 2. Ludacris- yeeeeaah luda 1. Busta rhymes- always the best so u cant never beat him haha

Trapstarzgotswagga3807 - This is one of my favorite songs EVER!!!

Better than the original by a long shot, I am very impressed with this single. Here is a list of verses one through ten: 10) Birdman- Horrible verse. Horrible. I would rather listen to DJ Khaled talking about how "We The Best" instead of this anytime. 9) DJ Khaled- I definatley advise this man to stop talking at the beginning of his songs and leave the rest to the rappers. 8) Fat Joe- A disapointing verse from Joe, carrying no steady rythym. 7) Rick Ross- Nothing special, a little better than Birdman's verse. 6) Busta Rhymes- Great voice for the song, and carries a speedy rythm, which is pretty good. 5) T-Pain- Why he isn't getting credit on the remix is beyond me, because just like the original, he delivers a well sung chorus. 4) Young Jeezy- A suprisingly good verse from the deep voice of Young Jeezy, with good rhymes. 3) Lil Wayne- GREAT VERSE!!! 2) Ludacris- Excellent rhymes, beat, verse, everything all around. Extra points for mentioning my favorite football team, the Bengals. Well done, Ludacris. 1) Big Boi- I was suprisingly pleased with Big Boi, and thought he had the best verse in the song. However, he does have the shortest verse. I found Birdman's verse so bad on this one song, that my partners and I here at Waffles 101 reviews have come up with some decent replacments that should be observed: 1. Kanye West 2. 50 Cent 3. Lil Jon 4. Yung Joc 5. Sean Kingston 6. William Hung (Seriously, he could probably do better.) 7. Flo Rida 8. Usher 9. Jay-Z 10. Akon 11. Nelly 12. Young Berg 13. Sean Paul 14. Chamillionaire 15. Twista 16. Krayzie Bone 17. T.I. 18. R. Kelly 19. Chris Brown 20. Ace Hood 21. MIMS 22. Jeulz Santana 23. Diddy 24. Bun B 25. Bow Wow 26. Slim Thug 27. Omarion 28. Trick Daddy 29. EMINEM 30. 2 Pistols 31. will.i.am 32. Silkk The Shocker 33. MackMaine 34. Ne-Yo 35. Pharrell 36. Snoop Dogg 37. Three 6 Mafia 38. Kardinal Offishall 39. Jadakiss 40. Bubba Sparxxx 41. Baby Bash Click YES if you hate Birdman's verse on THIS SONG. Must Buy: Yes

Klauzowski - good

I like the regular version cause da chorus is longer but I still like dis

Dangerous Innocence - So Hood

I'm not a rap fan, plain and simple. But there are sometimes and even some people that I find myself bouncing my head too. DJ Khaled is infamous for having 6 or 7 people on a song with him so this is nothing new, the only thing different about this song is that on this song he that got a damn good combination of people. I know pple say hip hop is dead and I'm not equipped to make that judgement call but I can't help bobbin' my head to this so for this particular one...way to go.

KingUSCHip-hop - good remix heard better

it's a good song but only has 4 parts i like Young Jeezy's, Luda's, Busta's, and Big Boi Fat joe, Birdman sucked on it other's were ok

im not giving my name to a machine2 - Wow

A MAZINg

$$$young mula$$$ - Jezzy and wezzy killed it

Young jezzy and lil Wayne killed it

Shanccyyy - Fire

🔥🔥🔥🔥

ikiwawa - yeaaaah.

im so h-to the double o-d. IM SOO HOOOOD>greaat song. and i never noticed how many people were in this song. like featured in it. young jeezy, luda, big boiii, rick ross, lil wayne, busta rhymes aaand birdman. woah. but great song.(:

MR. Samaroo - 1 star gets 1 star

The Chorus, one of the best parts of the song is barely featured, and Ludacris is the only reason to hear this track his part in the song is dope. Aside from the 40 seconds of khaled saying how great he is in the intro (BORING) everyone elses rhymes seem half assed.... BITES!!!

PennieRobbins - I'm So Hood review [great song in all versions]

In the original I'm So Hood T-Pain was in it. At the begining of the sample that iTunes has I can you can hear T-Pain say put your hands up. Did they copy that from the first I'm So Hood. By the way its a great song [all versions].

Domo45 - An okay song

Ludacris, Young Jeezy, and Lil' Wayne did a good job but DJ Khaled is suckish and annoying.

$Cristian$ - I'm So Hood

Great song better than the original. Most of the rappers in this song are really good.

jabe boyz - hot stuff

khaled is the man.best dj in the nation.hot song wit a vicious beat hearin it is a treat.

superchic999 - nooooooo! :(

I'm so hood? that dosen't make sence at all. but the beat and rythm is pretty good

Justanwsering21 - bad

horrible

Show da Don - We The Best!!!

Khaled had a great hit with this one.

ayyayayaya. - do not waste your money.

this is the WORST song since fergalicious. i heard this on a friends ipod. the begged him to turn it off. i mean "I'm So Hood I Wear My Pants Below My Waist" lyricly and musicly its a was a waste of time. a waste of breath for dj khaled every time he sings this song. and the sad thing is there are so talented rappers in this song..

Andi from Chilltown, JC - Andi from Chilltown, JC

What can I say. Some of the hottest MCs on this track. DJ Khaled keep it coming

Moviewhiz1 - r u hood

now dis is a 5 star rap album

GangstaCowboy - What happened to lil wayne?

This was a great remix with great contributions from everyone (with the obvious exception of Khaled himself who does a great job of yelling "We the best" at every possible moment) Young Jeezy -- He has got a great verse in here. Its a good, fast beginning to the song. 9/10 Ludacris -- Luda never fails to amaze me. Easily the best verse in the song. 10/10 Busta Rhymes -- I really enjoyed this verse. Busta had a good flow and creative lyrics. 9/10 Big Boi -- Where has Big Boi been all my life? He had great flow and his rhymes were unmatched. 10/10 Lil Wayne -- Huge dissapointment. Poor flow and incoherent lyrics made this the worst verse. 2/10 Fat Joe -- The first three lines were great. The rest of his verse had no flow, and straight up bad lyrics. 4/10 Birdman -- Of course, any song with lil wayne has to also have birdman. Birdman offered a lackluster verse with poor lyrics and a poor flow. 5/10 Rick Ross -- Again, in this verse he feels the need to remind us that he thinks hes "the boss." Really other than the last four lines or so, his verse was not very good at all. Just the same lyrics we always get from "the boss." 6/10 So really if you ignore Khaled ("Listennn!!) and stop listening after the Big Boi verse, this is really the best song of the year in my opinion.

Kun9PaoChicken - Remix Rocks!

I like the remix better than the original version. I like Ludacris's part the best. But a little too much cussing in it.

Stimulantthreat - HORRIBLE JUST HORRIBLE!!!!!

This song is just F*^#*%^ crap. I think it is sad when you have to make a song saying that you'r from the hood. This guy has no talent, what happened to real music?

cluelessboy15 - Its OK

its ok but the only good part is young jeezy no doubt

™♠ ♦Lord KdV♦♠ ™ - One of the Best Remixes Ever

I'm so Hood Remix, where the verses bang and the chorus gets cut to a line or two. But some of the verses were really good, and some, I think K-Fed could do a better job. Young Jeezy- 4/5 Good: Starts out with I'm so H to the double O D, which makes a good statment. Bad: He should've gotten a whole verse Luda-10/5 Good: Killed it, best verse, the lines best by him are, "I'm in the zone holmes, going for the 2 point conversion, I'm so hood that Ludacris should've been on the original version". And also " See this is the way that we ball and this is the way that we brawl, so put a fist in the air if you care that united we stand and divided we fall." That shows that Luda can think outside the box Bad: If Luda can rap like that, he should've been in the original version Bustha Rhymes 4.5/5 Good: Raps very fast Bad: Nothing special Big Boi 4/5 Good: Brings a RnB-Hip Hop-Rap style to the table and his part is unique Bad: His part really doesn't really make sense. Lil Wayne 3/5 Good:Changes the tempo also Bad: He named places after him like Hollywood and changed them up. West Coast!!!! Fat Joe 3.5/5 Good: Tells how hood he is by saying that he should own a McDonalds the way he brings the macs out. Bad: He's not that hood Birdman- Negative(-)5/5 Good: To tell you the truth, I don't really know Bad: Says the N word too much Rick Ross-4/5 Good: A pretty good ending verse and comes up with the best rhymes Bad: Kinda Random This is a really good remix and the only thing holding it back is listening to DJ Kahled talking. Ughhh, anyway since this is iTunes plus you can buy it and cut the part where he's talking out in Garage Band.

ireviewstuff - Great song

Great song, allstar list of rappers and they all do a pretty good job (some better than others) 1.) Young Jezzy 5/5 Great job, opens the song but I wanted more. I felt it was too short but he did a great job. 2.) Ludacris 5/5 2nd best verse, nice and fast and the rhymes are sick. 3.) Busta Rhymes 4/5 just feels weird, i like the flow but the rhymes just are mediocre 4.) Big Boi 5/5 the King rolls out again, everything he does rocks. Big Boi does the best verse on the song. It's catchy and is a great way to end the best part of the song. (it gets mediocre later) 5.) Lil' Wayne 3/5 I love weezy but his verse feels too slow and not a good segway for the rest of the song. After 100 mph verses from the first four it feels like Rosie O'Donnell climbing everest. 6.) Fat Joe 2/5 Lame, he's not horrible but he uses the crack baby line again which he used in the make it rain remix, not cool. 7.) Birdman 3/5 nothing special, just comes in to fill space 8.) Rick Ross 3/5 see no.7

sneborak - Pretty good

This song is good, but it's not better than the original version. Ludacris and Young Jeezy are awesome. Lil Wayne and Big Boi are okay. But everyone else isn't that good. Luckily the good parts are in the begining. It's worth one dollar.

JLReilly - first review

im so hood: GREAT SONG I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pinktink2010 - The Best Song Of '07

This song kills '07 with a mac 11

ToxG - lol

wow, this is horrible.

ramsf0o7ba1l - Great

Great song wit most of da best rappers in the game now... Wlda been way bettr if they clda got jay z, nas, plies, n mayb the game in there to

ripsiriwn - dumb

fun to listen to in the car, because it's RAP: Retards Attempting Poetry. it has a catchy beat but thats about it. Its songs like these that are the reason people laugh when i say that hip hop is my favorite genre. Listen to some native tongues for god's sake if you want to hear real hip hop.

ghettoj - Hope for dope!

Man...everyone is fire except surprisingly lil wayne and fat joe. (Unsurprisingly Birdman haha). Basically Ludacris, Big Boi, and Busta murdered. Get this track or you know you whack.

SeanDX - nice.....but

everyone is forgetting that t-pain sings the chorus in this song and its one of the best parts...
