I was turned on to Mozart by a now deceased friend several years ago. He had five Mozart records and played them from time to time during dinner parties. I didn't know the names of each work but they were so beautiful. I am amazed to have finally found a collection that not only contained every one of those particular works I had fallen in love with, but an astonishing 99 in all! I'll be listening to this album over and over. Especially those tracks that remind me of that wonderful friend I once had and lost.

How do you think they were able to license this much music for so little money? Most of these are subpar recordings from third-rate sources, and you're not getting the whole piece, just a movement from each. This is a great way to get introduced to Mozart, and find the pieces you like the most, but PLEASE support classical music by buying the full versions of the ones you like from high quality recordings. It would be terrible if what little classical music industry is left should die because people will only buy low quality stuff on these cheap compilations.

99 Masterpieces would be a lot for most people, but not Mozart. He had hundreds of masterpieces.

The 99 Most Essential Mozart Masterpieces are easy to listen to and are good quality to my ears. I recommend this collection if you like to listen to and enjoy this genre of music. There is no question about the beauty in Mozart's music. You can't go wrong with Mozart's wide variety of compositions. I tend to like Mozart anyway and this was an awesome way to indulge in a large collection of his work for my budget.

The recordings are crisp and vibrant and the selections really are his most essential works. I listened to the entire 99 tracks non-stop and it was so enthralling that I lost all track of time and awoke from my trance with a real sense of contentment. It would take a lifetime to travel the world to hear so many of the most renowned orchestras ever, all performing the works of a grand master like Mozart.

99 Tracks for only 11.99??!??! That's only .12 cents each!! The album is great to listen to if your a student because of all the tests. Just listen to it right before a mid-term or final and see your test results increase! Happened to me.
