I just saw the music video on Zuus Country Music Video station. Country rap? Are you kidding me? I've heard it before by all the other idiots in Nashville that think they need to jump on this "trend" because the white girls in their towns are listening to Lil Jon and Lil Johnny Cash..and someone said hmmm let's combine them. Well, stop listening to them. This is insane. In the small town I grew up in, if you we're listening to rap music you were going to get your a$& kicked by us country guys. You as well as the other that are partaking in Country Rap are a cancer.

Colt Ford is one of the best artists out there!

The album in general is okay, but I only "love" a couple of the songs. It is a different kind of country, and at least it doesn't have any of that techno crap that Chase Rice does nowadays. "Answer to No One" and "Ain't Out of the Woods Yet" have amazing guitar rips, and "Drivin' Around Song" and "Back" are just downright good music, in my opinion. I'm not a fan of the rest of the album, but Colt Ford knows what he's doing.

Colt Ford is a great guy, but rap and auto tune should be kept out of country music. Country music is in a terrible state right now, and I wish we could get people to follow in the footsteps of Willie, Johnny, Merle, Waylon, Hank, etc. Eric Church, Justin Moore, and Josh Thompson are a few of the guys who keep the country music real and genuine these days. Forget all the new pop artists such as Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes, Rascal Flatts. It's all just garbage these days

I love Jason Aldean's part in this song, however I can't stand Colt Ford's so called "rap"!

Well, country is not rap. Country is something totally different, and I cannot believe its under the country genre. Sure maybe the lyrics are country, but the actual music, so not country. In the song iwth Jason Aldean the autotune was so there, you could clearly hear it and it sounded so bad. I barely even recognized Jason's voice is was so off. Too much autotune. And in "ain't of the of the woods yet" where it says "country as country can get" i laughed. so not. What happened to the days with the twang? This is rap and rock, but country. You other people can like this, and I enjoy the lyrics a lot, I'm just not really liking the style of the music. It just doesn't really work. Country is certainly not rap, and I don't think the two should mix. It's just one of those things.

I think that the rap and auto tune in these songs are a fresh new sound that has been brought to country music. Not everyone has to follow the greats in regards to style. Country music is not and should not be confined to one definition of a "type" of music. I applaud Colt for exploring new things and I think it's genius. Sure, I still listen to George Strait, Tim McGraw, and Randy Travis, but I definitely have room for this in my music library!! Way to go Colt!! ;)
