I love this album because he shows his confederate rebel pride and he still continues to rock. I know a lot of people are writing bad reviews because they see that he actually cares about America, but the idiots hate him. Keep on going Kid, you rock. And forget you haters!

Hard to believe how far the kid has come from his first 5 or 6 albums (which I love also) to where he is now. The growth and maturity comes through, really starting with Rock and roll Jesus and coming full circle with this album. He has never forgotten where he came from and still manages to be true to his roots when most would labeled a sell out for such a metamorphis. But not Kid as you can tell that he is being real. So multi-talented. I can't wait for his next album to see what. He can think of next. Keep it up Kid you are the Man.

I've only listened to the Kid Rock songs that have come on the radio over the years, and I thought Kid Rock might be gettin too old for this, but I was wrong. Seldom do you find entire albums of one artist that you enjoy. Let's Ride is actually my least favorite. Kid Rock is still gettin it!

Kid Rock did it again! My favorite alblum of his! A mix of country and rock leaves the listener wanting more! My personal favorite song is "Lets Ride"-- song about the military. Kid Rock does so much for the community. Giving thousands of dollars a year to 4 different charities. Not to mention a certain amount of all profits from his concerts go to a charity. Get the alblum-- help out a charity. And you wont be disappointed. I promise! I listen to it, my daughter listens to it, my son, my wife, my whole family. My grandma listens to it and if she can listen to it and like it, then you will too.

I had such great expectations for this album. It is better than his last album, but he needs to stick to the sound that the fans can relate to. Great, he's talented and all, can play all of these instruments, but what musician now days worth his salt can't do tha? This is like ZZ Top putting out a rap album.....

Rock N" Roll Jesus and back was the best Kid Rock. He should stick rap rocking and headbanging.

Been a fan of Rock before he had fans. Used to follow his work in the early 90s and saw him at many MI venues like the State and the Ritz (both now gone). Since then I have seen Kid live over 15 times. My favorite albums are Polyfuse and Devil. Classics. This morph into something entirely different has gone too far. While musicians evolve I believe Rock is going in the wrong direction. His last album Born Free was a complete joke but I blamed this on Rick Rubin, as he can turn any artist soft and hasn't done anything good since 99 Problems. My 59 year old mother in law loves it though! This album is more of the same. While I appreciate the Detroit love on it, the album is so soft it is nauseating. Kid you are not Seger so please stop trying to be!!! You are, or were, the American Bad*ss!!! Where you at Rock, where you at?

Kid Rock is one of the closest rock n rollers to 70's rock n roll nowadays. He has a raspy rock n roll voice and a knack for writing decent lyrics from his days on the road. He seems to want to be the nexy Lynyrd Skynyrd and even though he is from Detroit, he sings southern rock anthems. My favorite song on the LP "Rebel Soul" is the title track.

Pretty good album. A lot of people on here need to understand that musicians grow. When he did "Devil without a Cause" he was young and hip-hop/rock was huge then. He's always had southern roots. I'm sorry most of the people on here are still stuck in 1998. They most likely arent open to any music that came out after they left high school. Rock can sing, and "Let's Ride" is a great American Anthem

A little skeptical at first but ended up loving this album! Could listen to it for days and it just puts you in a good mood! Definitely recommend it!

Any KR fan knows that his music has evolved over the years and covered many genres, has managed to get radio play on top 40, country, album oriented, and urban formats. Not many artists have been able to do that. That being said, I think this album has done it again, the last couple were fantastic, yet "safe". This new release has picked pieces of Rock's history along w/ bringing in the newer "evolved" sounds of the last few "safer" albums. I give it 5 stars- never a disappointment from Mr. Rock. You've done it again!! Though I would have chosen "mr. rock-n-roll" or "chickens in a pen" for the first single instead of "let's roll" as I feel, though a good song, not the strongest one to come out of the gate with. All in all though, good stuff!!!!

This album rocks, but why is Let's Ride marked explicit if it doesn't cuss?

I love Kid Rock's rawness and enregy and imagination, but this album isn't even mediocre. I don't know why he put it out, it's boring and seems like it's filled with whatever they could throw together in a hurry. It is such a huge disappointment. C'mon Kid, let's get the bad boy back....
