The movie and the soundtrack are incredible, I love M83 and when I see that they made the soundtrack of this movie I really like it. The places in the movie are awesome like Iceland.

Immediately after the movie, I knew I must own this - the music sticks with you that well. Reminds me heavily of the Inception soundtrack, with whiffs of Tron Legacy thrown in and Batman peppered on top. Slow burning with building tempos that just keep going that finally release into a "bwwwaahhhh" driven rage. Oblivion (ft. Susanne Sundf0r) sums it all up and is the icing on the cake.

I am so moved by this soundtrack, it leaves me speechless. I was a fan of M83 ever since i heard 'Midnight City'. I've always been very impressed with M83's music and the second i heard that they composed this soundtrack, i knew it will not dissapoint. I only expect great things from M83 and they just exceeded my expectations. This is an incredible soundtrack and i could not be more happy about it! I cannot wait to hear more from M83!!

Everything blended in with the music, characters, and specially the story. The music was perfect for the story when it comes to earth and how it describes it.

I can't say love, love, love it enough! This is phenomenal. Every song is a joy to listen to, and that's saying something with the deluxe version of 30 songs. The movie plays back in your mind as you listen to the music. It has reminders of Hunger Games in some tracks. This is up there with the Harry Potter scores. One note. the deluxe version will not fit on one cd.

I'm not a musician, that being said , out of hundreds of movie soundtracks that i own this one is easy in my top 10

This movie was very good, but the score Anthony Gonzalez constructs for this movie by itself makes the movie a 10 out of 10. It gave me an immense sense of nostalgia, wonder, and something supernatural. Incredible. You will get goosebumps

I am in love with this soundtrack. Simply AMAZING

This song appears at the climax of the film and does it draws your attention to one scene in particular. If you seen the movie then it is a spectacular effects shot with the climax part of the song. Beauty and power from this one track alone sets the emotional value of this entire soundtrack. The movie was good, but what came with the movie that was even better; the soundtrack. Again, the entire soundtrack is fantastic, but 'Fearful' is unbelievably good. Enjoy listening.

As with Tron's OST I think we should praise Joseph Trapanese, but not M83 for this beautiful score. May be except last track with vocal. For me this soundtrack made half of very positive impression from the movie.

In and of itself the Oblivion song is an awesome track as a stand alone. The fact that it came from a motion picture sound track is amazing. The move is phenomenal and the score is as well. Give the music and movie a chance!!

Tron legacy!! Huh? Wha? Oh. It's cool.

It has always been my firm believe that music is 50% of what makes a movie great! And this sound track does it on so many levels; The editing, story telling, the climax of all scenes…this music took me to another world and yet it was home. Epic yet down to earth, heart pumping and yet still, spacious and yet warm. Wow, if you enjoy listening to ambient music when running, driving, or just for inspiration, this sound track is for you!!! Buy it!!!

Haunting and driving electronic grit that resonates with emotion. The music fits the futuristic isolation and really adds to the experience. The final track has a life of its own and could not be more soulful in the delivery. It doesn't get any better without the name Hans Zimmer on it. And even then...

M83 killed it with this soundtrack. I can't stop listening to it. And you won't either.. I promise. Buy it. Right now. You won't regret it.

Oblivion's soundtrack caught my attention. I wanted to turn the volume up a bit because it's so low-key during the movie. It sounds a bit like Tron: Legacy meets Mass Effect, which is probably why it felt familiar, but comfortable. Honestly, the film and the music caught me off guard-- I wasn't expecting to enjoy them like I did.

Such a masterpiece all rolled up in this soundtrack. The music is riveting and spellbinding. I love every song and its so refreshing that a soundtrack could hold this much talent.

A great album to listen to. There are many qualities of Hans Zimmer in here along with the influence of Tron Legacy. Joseph Trapanese is the big shine in this album though and he nails is a lot. My favorite songs are Earth 2077, Wake Up, and Star Waves. These songs rock. Plus how can you beat an hour and 50 minute soundtrack for $13? A great album for people who love listening to soundtrack music.

There is a reason why you can watch the movie (on blu-ray) with soundtrack only. There are not many soundtracks that can sort of pull you in . This is now my favorite album !

funny how things workout sometimes; listening to good music that no one knows about and years later they ask "hey have you heard of M83?" I'm a M83 fan for years and this album moved them to a different level! Awesome soundtrack for those who like to let their mind escape the radio!

The movie was 8/10 but the soundtrack was superb in every aspect and tied perfectly with each and every scene. It made the movie a lot better. Obviously Oblivion by M83 and Susanne Sandfor is just out of this world. Love it

The Temple of our Gods reminds me of V'Ger and the Borg themes. This is awesome even if the actual movie was mediocre except for the music and the landscapes, this and the flashpoint opening rocks for space video games

Great work by M83, some songs sound just like him, and some songs are movie scores with his influence. If you have listened to every single M83 album you can appreciate this. If it is your first M83 experience... DO NOT judge based off of this. Check out You and the Night soundtrack also completely M83. Way more his style. This is great nonetheless. Epic to say the least!!!

Masterpiece, so many emotions at once, this is art in its purest form

Never mind the detractors. I Love, Love, Love this soundtrack! The main theme that reappears throughout the piece just tears my heart out. With that said, is anyone else getting a “Freedom Fighters” vibe by Two Steps from Hell? It came out 2 years before this and I wonder if it was an inspiration.

Just imagine epic tones and swooping notes + M83’s mastery of atmospheric music= So Sweet. Very solid purchase.

Its a good soundtrack but I probably like it because it sounds just like Hans Zimmer’s soundtracks for Batman, Inception and Daft Punk’s (Zimmer influenced) Tron Legacy.

Jump in a hammock and just listen to the haunting synth and masterfully created harmonies. I never really knew who M83 was until I watched this movie, loved the score, downloaded it, and listen to it when I come home from 12 hours at work and unwind. This score takes you on its own journey, blew me away!

I love this soundtrack and find myself listening to it constantly. It is perfect for this movie and the movie was so great also. I listen to this a lot in the background when I am working. So great, it does make me think about the sound tracks for batman, inception and a video game Mass Effect from Bioware.

I just want to thank Mr. Gonzalez and M83 for creating such a beautiful score to an already amazing movie. It's easy to say that film scores make you feel something very deep, as if you were the main character like Jack Harper riding a futuristic bike in a wasteland with the track "Tech 49" or saving what's left of the world with "Fearful Odds". It's another thing to be able to apply a film score to our lives, and that's exactly what Oblivion does for me. I drive my car with it, I think about my life and the relationships I've had throughout with it, but most importantly, it makes me think about the future.

Hands down this is one of the best movie soundtracks of all-time. You must see the movie Oblivion to fully appreciate the album's context.

As much as I love the current Mass Effect music, M83 can bring a lot to the series. Even more Epic that Oblivion, which is incredible to say the least! Love it.

I just seen the move tonight for the first time and the music reminded me of a lot of different soundtracks from games and movies but this is what made it unique and I loved the movie and u can't what to be able to get the soundtrack!!!

The more you listen, the more the sublime sounds ingrain into your mind. Like the film, simply superb.
