This one of their best ones. It has some really good songs. Something you can listen on your way to the beach I would say.

One of the most unique bands, great guitar and violin parts.

I used to listen to a lot of these songs about five or six years ago. My music tastes have changed a lot, but the quality of this album hasn't. This is Yellowcard's best album by far. Highly recommend it

Hands down one of the best albums by one of the best bands of all time

They will probably never top this album again, Southern Air got mad close to doing that, then came Lift a Sail bringing in a new low for the band. But point being, an album like this is one of a kind. There is Only One (see what I did there?)

Ocean Avenue is an exhilarating album.

First CD I ever owned and still one of my favorite albums.

You can't replace this album. This is Yellowcard. Nothing they ever out out will be as good as this album.

I love the use of the violin/fiddle. It rarely seems like a gimmick and just adds to the Band's original sound.

I'm gonna do a quick song by song review, the a summary, so here it goes. Way away, 9/10, great opening song, a good one to sing along too Breathing, 8/10, a good song, the violin rocks in this one Ocean Avenue, 10/10, one of the best songs on the album, great guitar, drums, and violin ending Empty Apartment, 9/10, great song, the lyrics are extremely good, and the guitar is amazing as well Life of a Salesman, 7/10, an ok song, not my favorite Only One, 6/10, honestly, I'm not sure why everyone likes this song so much, it's a bit generic and repetitive Miles Apart, 8/10, a good song with good guitar and drums TwentyThree, 6/10, another song that is simply "meh" it's problem lies in its generic lyrics, similar to only one View From Heaven, 10/10, love the violin and country influence here, also, Tay rocks In this one Inside out, 5/10, probably the worst song in the album, some may argue, but I don't like this one Believe, 9/10, a bit overplayed, but still amazing, also, a have thumbs up to yellowcard for the praise of American soldiers and real heros, great song with great lyrics One year, six months, 9/10, love the lyrics and acoustic guitar Back home, 11/10, call me crazy, but this is hands down my favorite song on the album, it has great lyrics, drums, and guitar, absolutely perfect Summary: Ocean Avenue is an amazing album from the opening of way away to the closing chord of back home, there are a few songs that don't quite measure up the rest, but most are good. The best are back home, ocean avenue, and view from heaven, hands down. Overall, 9/10

This is their best cd. I enjoy it. I have not heard the cd in a long time. I still have it. But just haven't listened to it. Maybe I will listen to them again at some point. Great cd. If you don't have this one then what are you waiting for. Buy!

Awesome album

There is one song that has helped me the most through this horrible year, Ocean Avenue. This year I lost my dad and Ocean Avenue has helped me more than i could ever imagine. "If I could find you now, things would get better. We could leave this town, and run forever." - R.I.P. Dad.

My original roots of listening to rock was with this band. This album is one of my top 5 albums i have ever listened to. It is true to what rock should be with meaning to every lyric. Anytime anyone asks me a recommendation for a band to listen to its these guys in specific this album the one that opened my eyes to rock.

This was awesome in middle school and is still awesome today. One of the only albums I can listen to all the way through without having to miss a single song. Worth every penny and makes me smile every time I hear it!!!

I don’t understand why the ratings aren’t in the thousands honestly but the album is totally worth it I wish they didn’t separate and still made music such a shame :(

12 years later, Ocean Avenue has never gotten old and never will. The entire album lifts my spirits and gets me in the mood for summer. There isn't a single song on this album that I have not shamelessly jammed out to! Only One, Ocean Avenue, Back Home, and Miles Apart are my favorites!
