I've bought all of Kenny's past 5 albums and I can honestly say this is one of my favorites (tied with hemingway's whiskey) Keeps it simple and real. Non of that "bro- country" on point Kenny, on point.

I love Kenny Chesney's music & Rock bottom is my all time favorite in this album. All his songs here are awesome as well. Well worth every penny. (Tips cowboy hat)

I am a rock/blues listener. I heard this song on a late night show and I had to have it. It reminds me of an old Eagles, CSN, or some country/rock combination. I like the slow soulful flow of the melody. Great job KC!

Not pop country . I like

This is truly a really really good, well-rounded album with hits such as "American Kids" and "wild child" but there's much more to the album. "Flora-Bama", "till it's gone", and "save it for a rainy day" create a good, solid disk. Much better than his previous album which more like straight up island music. The only reason I can't give it a 5, is because it's missing the blending of the songs, and the length of the album. Defiantly worth the whole buy vs just buying the songs everyone knows.

Kenny comes out rocking on this album with an updated tone and mix of his sound in the studio.

This is his best album since Hemingway's whiskey, taking a year off to focus on quality was well worth it! Could not complain, the songs all flow together well and there is an overall message. Well done.

I have been a Kenny Chesney fan for years now and I love every song he has ever released and this album does not disappoint! Every song on this album is classic Kenny. I will always look forward to his new music. Keep up the good work Kenny.

First of all, all the people who say this albums is about "sitting on a beach and drinking beer," clearly don't understand the meaning. This album has lyrically gotten back to his older albums that were so complex and great. The music is edgy on some songs and a couple different styles are shown expertly on this album. This album is about living life and not letting it get to you. So touching. "Wild child" is ANOTHER great collaboration with Grace Potter and songs like "don't it" are so deep. Songs like "rock bottom" and "Til it's gone" are great for live performances and will be great crowd pleasers. Overall, this album was worth a year off. I hope to see more albums like this one. Another amazing job, Kenny!

As the title infers, I reviewed this before most people, and on the first available day on iTunes. I figured I may as well go back and look at this seeing as how his new one will probably release within the next few months. "The Big Revival" as a whole is what it was intended to be: a lightweight Kenny Chesney album. The same old same. Overall: 7.5/10 Best: "Save it For a Rainy Day" and "Til It's Gone" Worst: "If This Bus Could Talk"

Might as well switch from country to pop because this album flopped. While you're at it buy Confident by Demi Lovato!

Glad to see what I'll dub a "throw back" album. He has a few country(ish) songs on here. Still miss the old stuff. Montgomery Gentry already released the big revival on a cd. I like their version a little better but still a good cd.
