jabba1985 - its great!

so glad shes back! its been way tooooo long. love the new album!

Jeff Lutz - Her Best Work

This is her best work ever and I loved "Bella Donna". I'm mesmerized by her voice. It would be safe to say this will become a classic instantly.

SUSAN ROBLES - Not that she ever left, but...

SHE'S BACK! In Your Dreams is easily my favorite Stevie album since Wild Heart! Her voice on this album proves that she is in no way ready to slow down anytime soon. I think she has truly met her match with Dave Stewart. I don't think any other producer she has worked with has ever truly "got" Stevie like Dave gets her. Instead of trying to make her come into his world he is more than willing to step into her world. What they have created here is magical. "Ghosts Are Gone" is her best rock song since "Edge of Seventeen". Like Edge it starts out with a distinct, rockin' guitar riff, the kind that make you want to drive really fast. It's so hard to pick a favorite song, they are all truly enchanting. Each song is a beautiful short story. I encourage everyone to buy the whole album and just close your eyes and listen. There is no storyteller comparible to Stevie.

Tericats - WHERE IS THE OLD STEVIE NICKS

OK LISTEN TO THIS MUSIC THEN LISTEN TO HER GREAT MUSIC YRS AGO... SHE HAS CHANGED... SHE IS A GREAT ARTIST AND SINGER BUT THIS CD IS NOT THE OLD STEVIE NICKS WHO I LOVE TO LISTEN TO ... SHE IS JUST DIFFERENT AND THIS IS NOT FOR ME. DISAPPOINTED IN THIS CD. NOT WASTING MY CASH ON THIS

YoginiRose - Essential Stevie

If you are a fan of Stevie, this is an essential album. Stevie stays true to her roots while Dave Stewart brings out the best in her. I am really enjoying this new work!!

James3535 - In Dreams

Love Stevie Nicks great songs, cant wait to see her in concert , Your the best Stevie

admoral - Have You Any Dreams You'd Like To Sell?

“In Your Dreams”, Stevie Nicks’ seventh solo album and her first in ten years, has really shown how the artist has come full circle. As a whole, it is one of her strongest to date, many already comparing it to “Bella Donna.” A lengthy record of 13 tracks (14 if you count the extra track available on some editions), Miss Nicks has certainly proven herself to be prolific. Obviously the strongest element here is simply the artist’s voice—which sounds stronger and more capable than ever. Miss Nicks has certainly matured in both her singing and in her songwriting. The very first listen brought tears to the eyes. There are many gems on this album, and of course there are the obvious standouts. “In Your Dreams”, “Annabel Lee”, “You May Be The One”, and “Italian Summer” are going to be the memorable tracks. The title track starts out sounding somewhat like a Hidden Valley commercial, but is quite catchy and in no way offensive. The touch of rockabilly makes it very suitable for radio play. “You May Be The One” is an old-style, bluesy number, the kind of song for which the artist’s voice was made. Even “Moonlight (A Vampire’s Dream)”, a.k.a. “The Vampire Song”, is quite beautiful—and this reviewer admittedly has never read or seen a single episode of Twilight. Notably present here is a clear element of country, an element which has resurfaced in a number of her tracks throughout her long career: “I Don’t Want To Know” (Rumours), “After the Glitter Fades” (Bella Donna), “That’s Alright” (Mirage), “No Questions Asked” (Fleetwood Mac Greatest Hits), “Affairs of the Heart” (Behind The Mask), “Rose Garden” (Street Angel)—none of which is surprising for a girl from Arizona. “For What It’s Worth” could easily be played on any country station; the chorus of “New Orleans” could have been penned by Kenny Chesney. Even “Cheaper Than Free” reveals a hint of country, particularly in the guitar solo. Here Stevie confirms what she has always claimed, that one of her biggest influences aside from Joplin and Hendrix, is and always has been her late grandfather, AJ Nicks—with whom she first started singing as a very young girl. The obvious gem of this record—and granted this is a strictly subjective statement—is “Everybody Loves You”, co-written with Dave Stewart. It is the strongest track on the record, performed with Mr. Stewart, whose deep baritone compliments Stevie’s most appropriately. The lyrics are sweet and poignant, and seem to be a reflection of the artist’s life, as are many of her songs: Everybody loves you, but you’re so alone. Everybody knows your name, but you can’t find your way home. No one really knows you; I’m the only one. For me this track is simply one of her best. Ever. On the flip side, “Soldier’s Angel” is clearly the weak link of the line-up. While noble in intent, and beautifully sung, it is awkward in its presentation even with Lindsey Buckingham’s backing harmonizing vocals. Reminiscent of 1991’s “Desert Angel”, but not nearly as strong a track, and like “Illume (9-11)” from Fleetwood Mac’s Say You Will album of 2003, it is clearly meant to acknowledge and provide a personal commentary on current events. At least two other tracks from the record provide similar commentaries, but do so in a much more subtle way. Ms. Nicks tends to repeat herself in a number of ways, many of which we are used to seeing in her former work. She lifts lines from previous songs, just as she always has (“come in out of the darkness”, “no words were spoken”, “lady from the mountains”, “no one walks away from this battle”, “sometimes it was heavenly, sometimes it was too heavy”, and that ever persistent “ghost through the fog”). Sometimes this self-referencing works; at other times, it can be somewhat off putting, even to her most loyal listeners. Miss Nicks also has the tendency to repeat certain concepts or words in her songs: “angel”, the aforementioned “ghost”, and “child” come to mind here. Clearly she likes to use the certain types of words like “angel” and “child”, as she enunciates them well and they work particularly well with her voice. Angels, ghosts, and dreams have always been a common thread in most of Miss Nicks’ work, with “dreams” having figured prominently in her writing since the days of Rumours. And finally, a noticeable ‘blooper’ that occurs in one of her songs here: you can clearly hear Dave Stewart say “Here we go” near the beginning of the track “New Orleans”, which, I have to admit, I found more amusing than anything else. Even the best are human and can miss a thing or two in their time. In any case, at sixty something, Miss Nicks has certainly earned her keep—and can pretty much write whatever the heck she wants. We will still listen. And be moved appropriately.

MDW67 - Amazing CD

Stevie's best work since Belladonna or WIld Heart. A must have for any music lover. Buy it and Enjoy!

iGreg - Way to go Stevie!

The album is her strongest in years, and the song with Lindsey Buckingham is amazing. They still sound perfect together. The iTunes LP concept is used effectively here, with lyrics, liner notes, videos, photographs and the works. But at the end of the day it's to my ears a 70's-style California rock album which benefits from great songwriting, tight melodies and tighter production. She sounds like she's on top of her game.

xanadu220 - FLAWLESS!!!!!

STAND BACK!!!!! Stevie is back in full force! I've missed her so much and now she has bestowed upon us her best work EVER! PLEASE don't keep us waiting another 10 years Stevie!

GoodBoys79 - Little Nuances Require Multiple Listens

CDs that have stood the test of time for me have always required multiple listens. It appears "In Your Dreams" is no exception and I take that as a good sign. The songs are loaded with substance, and unlike most pop songs with "in your face" hooks, this CD demands attention by requiring listeners to focus on the lyrics as well as the melodies. The more you allow the music to resonate, the better understanding and appreciation you have for the music. It's the little nuances in the CD that make this a great effort. I found the end result worth my money...and time.

XpensiveWino - Brilliant Record

It's refreshing to know that there are artists who can still create music like this. Two thumbs up to this "honorary heartbreaker!"

untouchableone - Strong set of songs for starving fans

There are some of Ms. Nicks' best songs ever recorded on this collection. I was so happy (and relieved) at how strong the songs and vocals are. There is no arguing the sound of her voice is not what it used to be, but hey it hasn't been since before the mid nineties. Still, I am still surprised how deep it is sometimes. Putting that aside there is no one that sounds like her....no one comes close ....so I am glad she is still recording. The strongest songs like Annabel Lee, Moonlight, You May be the One, For what its Worth you will be listening to over and over again. Songs like Italian Summer and Everybody Loves You and New Orleans will find you during the day and you will be humming their hooks. The clunker on the album is the well intended Soldiers Angel...that song represents everything I was terrified this record would sound like.....tired vocals and bland melody....I deleted it right away. Wide Sargasso Sea is just ok but the vocals at the end sounds like vintage Stevie. Ghosts are Gone would have been great at 3 minutes as a blues cooker but at 6 minutes it's annoying. Cheaper than Free was at first to me a novelty forgivable throw away but it really grew on me. All and all this record will play for a very long time to any Stevie Nicks fan. I don't know whether or not it will gain new fans but I certainly hope so....it is telling that Fleetwood Mac "Rumours" is back on the Itunes chart top 10 again....

JTcrazy - Ehhh

I've bought ever Fleetwood Mac album, every Stevie Nicks album, and any other album she's been in. This one however is not so good. This is the first album of hers I will not buy. I've listened to them over and over but can't get into it. The only one that stands out is Cheaper than Free.

Gerardie - Stunning Stunning Stunning!

This album is amazing! Every song is so well crafted, and suits her voice. The songs all tell a story, and only Stevie can tell a story this way with little hints and clues as to who they are about.. Purchase the frigidly beautiful Moonlight, the rocking out country twang of In Your Dreams, and the torch song, Italian Summer that is so achingly gorgeous you will play it again and again, stunned. So very Happy for Stevie for putting together such a great album. Mommy deserves mad props for this one.

Mitchum Sinclaire - Perfection

I can't say what I need to say about this album in 6000 characters. Stevie's first album in 10 years is totally worth the wait. Full of ghosts, vampires, and exotic locales, it is classic Nicks, amped up the the next level with stellar production by Dave Stewart of Eurythmics fame. While I can't single out a favorite at the moment, I have to say I'm listening to Wide Sargasso Sea and New Orleans in heavy rotation. Highly recommended!

Rolozo - Great!

You voice sounds better than ever. The music and lyrics are wonderful. They say "We get better with age" and you proved it to be true! Keep it up

macfreeman7 - A Masterpiece

Everyone needs to buy this album! It has so much to offer for everyone of all ages - pop, country overtones, and some serious rock. I also agree that this is possibly one of Stevie's best albums to date. If you are enjoying In Your Dreams, check out Stevie's other music - you will NOT be disappointed. Also, be sure to catch Stevie on Ellen and other shows including American Idol - coming up soon! Hail to the Queen of Rock and Roll! My favorites are Wid Sargasso Sea and Ghosts Are Gone. Try them out first!!

destinyrules - Great Music From A Great Place In Life

Stevie Nicks said during Fleetwood Mac's Behind The Music episode that, "devastation leads to really great songwriting." If her latest CD In Your Dreams is any indication, great music can come from being in a great place in your life as well. Even including the excess song "Cheaper Than Free" which was also on Dave Stewart's solo album The Blackbird Diairies, In Your Dreams features some of Nicks's best songwriting in a very long time, only drawing very little from the past. Granted, the first single, "Secret Love" just missed the cut on Fleetwood Mac's seminal record Rumours, but it is perhaps the fifth or sixth best song on this album. The song mixes fast paced, optimism (the title track, and arguably the best song on this record) with hard-edged rock ("Ghosts Are Gone", another highlight), sprinkled in with poetry "Annabel Lee" (adapted from the Edgar Allen Poe poem), prose ("Wide Sargasso Sea", another stellar track) and inspiration from a hit movie ("Moonlight"). The latter song also includes parts of a long-ago demo ("Lady From The Mountain"). There's even a bit of recent day history in the song "New Orleans", written as a dose of hope to those still fighting the wreckage from the days the levees gave out and in "Soldier's Angel", which sees her former paramour and longtime band partner Lindsey Buckingham play guitar and sing harmonies in a song that harkens back to the days of Buckingham Nicks before they joined Fleetwood Mac. That song also features a bit of social commentary: "In a war of words between worlds ... about what is wrong, about what is righteous." If there is any relative weak track on here besides "Cheaper Than Free", it would have to be the folk-tinged "For What It's Worth", written in part by Mike Campbell. And "Everybody Loves You" falls a tad flat. But even that is relative. In Your Dreams showcases a passionate Stevie Nicks ready to reclaim her throne as the reigning Queen of Rock And Roll, and proves once and for all that so-called "geezer rockers" can still bring it with the best of the young ones.

Two Blue Stars - "IN YOUR DREAMS by STEVIE NICKS" My Rolling Stone Review ✰✰✰✰✰

I have been a Stevie Nicks fan since I was 7 years old. WHEN Dreams was first played on the Radio, I was hooked. OVER the years, I have listened to every single song she has written, and every version ever produced. I certainly have a difficult time NOT liking anything that Stevie Nicks has ever done. AND on that note, I have to say I cannot stop listening to this album, especially because I relate to everything she has to sing and say. EVEN though I have only MET Stevie Nicks once, I consider her a part of my network of friends, and deep in my heart, like a spiritual MOTHER. She, I am sure is aware that SHE has touched many of her TRUEST fans in this respect. This album, IS very special to her, and based on her stories quite personal... I feel as if I know her even deeper than I ever thought I knew her. SHE has an intense way of bringing us into her MYSTICAL web of imagery. SHE is going to be 63 years old this month, but HOW can that be. SHE is ageless, and timeless. THIS In Your Dreams is quite elaborate and poetic. I am sure just as many other releases of her have gotten lost on certain listeners, there are moments on this album you have to take individually to understand where she is coming from. Stevie Nicks to ME, is like she says continuously writing the continuation of a previous song, so every time she quotes herself from a song from before, I get the shivers, knowing which moment in time she is recollecting. SHE has given us a glimpse of who she has loved, who she has met, what she reads, where she has travelled. SHE is an HONEST artist, and beyond any other female artist out there INNOVATIVE, and yet true to the CLASSIC way rock and roll was originally done: PASSIONATELY! I LOVE THIS ALBUM, I hope that everyone else would to, but to those who don't get it. TO me they are JUST not part of the STEVIE tribe, just an outsider NOT an INSIDER. I am an INSIDER. One of her angels! Top Favorite songs: New Orleans, Soldier's Angel, Italian Summer, In Your Dreams... but honestly I LOVE THEM ALL! Thank you Stevie Nicks, my MUSE!

I.Drove.All.Night - Stevie Nicks = the QUEEN of Rock 'n' Roll...'nuff said.

If you're a fleetwood mac/Stevie nicks/Lindsey buckingham fan....GET 'IN YOUR DREAMS'!! What.are.you.waiting.for?! :)

Whiskey Foxtrot Tango - Another Winner!

Stevie never disappoints! This was definitely worth the wait

Salek1 - FANTASTIC

The best Stevie recording in decades - a MUST have for any Stevie fan. Great blend of variations and very impressive. This album ranks in my top 3 favorite Nicks' albums (Bella Donna, Wild Heart, In Your Dreams).

Matt-D-R - Completely Enchanting!

Never would I have though that 30 years after her first solo album that Stevie Nicks would record the most interesting and musically rich album of her career. She sounds strong and sings with pride and confidence in her voice. Her unique songwriting shines through in the form of angels, ghosts, and dreams as only she can deliver. "In Your Dreams" sounds contemporary while honoring her past and even giving a nod to the blues.

keperof - Sandman1

This album has a way of making you feel like you are part of the song, it grabs you & pulls you until you give it the attention it demands. I love the different Stevie's that have come out on this album, most of all when she is doing a song that sounds like Bob Dylan. Stevie you are beautiful & will always make beautiful music love & respect.

Michael Lapham - STEVIE

JamesF03 - Absolutely fantastic !

At 62, she just schools these young ones on how it is done! What an incredible album, from start to finish, this is what made me love Stevie Nicks! This is an album that you should definitely own if you are a Stevie Nicks fan! Some of these gems are definitely some of her best work! It is great to see at her age, she can still jam! snoopy133704 - a classic!

just alone for the two tracks Annabel Lee and Wide Sargasso Sea.........some of the Welsh Witch's best songs ever! Whole Cd is excellent!

Lindsay Feinstein - Dear Stephanie-

From all of your fans of all ages and from around the world, we are so proud of you! You obviously put your heart and soul into this album and yes, you've made us very happy and we love you.

mediumbluemetallic - Amazing

I've read many professional reviews of "In Your Dreams" stating that this album is Stevie's own, personal "Rumors." After listening to it thoroughly, I have to agree. This album is more than a work of art... it's a work of wonder. I really don't know how she could have ever out-done "Belladonna," but yet, with this album, I think she has. They're all good, but here are the songs that you can't miss: -Annabel Lee [perhaps Stevie's most magnificent work ever] -Moonlight (A Vampire's Dream) [super-catchy, super-original chorus] -Soldier's Angel [this one sounds like "The Chain," an old "Rumors" favorite] Every track is worth downloading and listening to over and over, but these three are the ones that force me to press repeat regardless of what I'm doing when they start playing.

Pghdjshawn - Her best solo cd!

Every song in this cd is amazing! This beats all her CDs and is #1 in my book! Moonlight, wide sargasso sea, for what it's worth, Annabel lee are stand outs! You will love these songs!

smartin825 - Stevie Nicks is back!

Excellent album - It is great to hear new songs with that awesome voice!

fitman30 - Steve Nicks

Jarface11 - I LOVE STEVIE!

Stevie Nicks is my all time favorite artist and this album is fantastic. All of the songs are simply wonderful!

Willhoit - Great!!!!

Stevie's still has it! I love this CD! Bruce Willhoit

MarkInPDX - Awesome Album

Great songs... the videos are a little hokie... sort of "Stevie meets Steampunk", but who cares? She's great.

jfmrn - Priestess of Nothing

You are forever in my heart and soul Stevie! I love you!!!

1,2,3.. puke - Class Act

Stevie is back and better than ever. They just don't make music like this anymore. Great job Stevie!!

djames13 - Great new body of work from a true legend

Standouts so far are the title track, Annabel Lee, Ghosts are Gone and Italian Summer. Well worth the buy whether you are a die hard Nicks fan or looking to introduced to one of the world's most stunning lyricist.

Emily9080 - worth the wait ;)

Stevie Nicks is an amazing singer and songwriter and once again doesn't fail to leave her fans speechless with her amazing lyrics and voice! I'm soo excited to hear that she made a song out of Annabel Lee it's such a beautiful poem! love this album :) btw she wrote moonlight after watching twilight!

janice7920 - I don't get it...

It's Stevie and I'll always love her but I can't say I'm impressed by this latest album. I think it lacks the profound song writing and memorable melodies she's done in the past--a good number of the songs sound alike and unspectacular (forgettable.) I think the strongest effort here is Annabel Lee. I can remember being deeply moved by the lyrics of her older works but absolutely nothing jumps out as special on this recording and parts of it are composed of simple rhyming without the depth and meaning of prior work. Still love her but this album, not so much.

greegree - Grew up with Stevie!!!

All my life I have listened to Stevie Nicks. It started with Rumours in the 70s listening with my older sister and from then on I was hooked. This is one of her best. She is a very gifted song writer...my favorite is Italian Summer!!!! Makes me want to travel to Italy....I just might. So glad she is back because some of the female artist out there are sell outs and it is so nice to have real music once again.

Skeltergrave - So amazing.

Bought it the day it came out and still haven't put it down. Great album. Thank you Stevie!!!!!!

rbracervega - Whatever happened to her voice

I guess age matters and sometimes is not kind...

AnthonyTedesco17 - Music of the decade!

Wow! Amazing! A storybook like a collection of deams... This is what music should be..Relatable and thought provoking. The best. Metaphors that bring you to the best and worst times of your life. Every listen uncovers a new layer.. What an album should be. Not single quick cuts but an expeirience.
