this album is powerful!!!it is GREAT

After a four-year absence I was thrilled to have new music from Stevie Nicks, but in general time has not been kind to this album. Several songs are inconsistent and some are half-baked and unfocused (most notably "Docklands", "Destiny" and "Love Is Like A River". However, there are several good tracks. "Blue Denim" and "Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind" are the best songs here and have become forgotten gems in her catalogue. Other standouts include "Rose Garden", the title cut, and "Jane" written for Jane Goodall. The album becomes transitional, setting the stage for the Fleetwood Mac comeback, followed by her own resurrection (starting with the excellent "Twisted" from the TWISTER soundtrack).

An Amazing album but why can you never get the b-sides of albums that swhere most of the good songs on the album are

As others have noted, Stevie isn’t particularly fond of this one as it was recorded and released at a low point in her life. My track picks here are “Blue Denim”, “Greta”, “Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind”, “Unconditional Love”, and “Jane”.

Such a memorable album to me cause I enjoyed each & every track though I wish that I would've included INSPIRATION & GOD'S GARDEN. I heard INSPIRATION & made me cry with such beautiful lyrics.

Good album with some unqiue songs.

I love the album, but it would have been even better had it been mixed better (that's why some tracks were remixed on "Enchanted")

I absolutely love this album and believe it would have sold better had Stevie herself not smack talked it.

This ablum isn't that good although track 9,13,2 are pretty good, it may be that I just came from beautiful liar but as far as I can see it just insn't that good overall

There are still treasures to be found on this CD. I listened to it over and over and found wisdom, parallels to my life, support, and advice. Docklands, Like a River, Blue Denim, Rose Garden, Kick It, even Jane.

This album was during a tough time for Stevie and yet it's still amazing to me! It has an R&B slash rock sound and has her classic sound to it! I'm a insane fan of Stevie so anything she writes I'll worship. It was very underrated, at least I think

I know that this was not deemed one her best works but I totally disagree. Sure there are a couple of songs that are not my favorite but overall I find it great to listen to. I find it much better than the Other Side of the Mirror album. Kick it, Listen to the Rain, Blue Denim, Love is like a River are just a few highlights. I could of done without the song Jane as I find it sort of draggy but hey...Jane does great work so she deserves a song! Overall, I love this album.

All of these songs lyrics & vocals are great BUT Greta, Docklands, Listen to the Rain, Rose Garden, Street Angel are A++. Great lyrics & vocals, I've never had a Stevie Nicks album i DIDN'T like. I've got the cd and i'm buying these songs to put on my iPod.

Most didn't favor this album including myself. However its not an overall bad CD here. There are sevral songs that just don't stand up to her previous works. 'Street Angel', 'Rose Garden' & 'Blue Denim' are classics and the best on the album It's like she didn't put as much into her writting for this album. This is a think & listen carefully before you buy.

Stevie was very vulnerable and wore her heart on her sleeve.

Biggest downfall is not aot of new material bulid on lots of leftovers, and she wasn't as involved with the process. There are some great songs on here like the the title track 'Blue Denim', 'Destiny' 'Rose Garden' 'Just Like A Woman' 'Kick It', & 'Jane'

I Love this album.

Street Angel is the worst selling of Stevie's studio albums, but it's not bad. On the positive side, she came out of the 80s sound by now, and this album is more of a back to basics rock album. There are flaws on this album that are due to her klonopin addiction, and Stevie realizes that herself. But there are still great songs on this album that should not go without listen! Notable tracks include: Blue Denim, Greta, Love Is Like A River, Maybe Love, Just Like A Woman & Kick It. Kick It is the best thing on the albumn. Blue Denim & Maybe Love were the singles if you are looking to ease yourself into the album. Rose Garden is one of Stevie's country songs, and was written when she was a teenager.

i believe that this was recorded during her klonopin recovery....after she got out treatment, if i'm recalling properly, she went back and tried to fix the album but said it was akin to redoing a house....sink way too much money into it and you're still never satisfied. There are some hidden gems on this album.it just isn't stevie @ her finest.

It seems like I can get into any Stevie Nicks' album. From Bella Donna - Trouble in Shangri-la. The best songs on this album is: -Blue Denim -Greta -Street Angel -Docklands -Listen to the Rain -Rose Garden ( Those the only ones I listen to xD )
