I love Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, as well as her first album, Bella Donna, but this album is lacking a lot - her creativity is lacking here. The songs are okay and I find myself falling asleep to some - boring, I guess. I guess in some ways, she was better when she was on drugs, at least the songs were excellent.

This is by far stevie's best album EVER!! she is awesome! my fav song here is trouble in shangri la... cant understand why this hasn't gotten like any reviews! great album, stevie!

Nothing short of brilliant. Each song like pearls strung together to make one of the most beautiful necklaces the world's ever seen. Had been quite a while since Street Angel and this was the album fans had been waiting for, back to forum. Love 'I Miss You', 'Planets', 'Everyday' & 'Love Is' best albums from Stevie in a long time.

This album beats them all. "Trouble In Shangri La" is a catchy, but complex song with a hint of early 2000s pop mixed in. "Sorcerer" is beautiful, while retaining a fun beat. "Every Day" is a great love song. "Bombay Sapphires" seems to have a slightly hispanic sound to it that makes it pop with emotion. "Fall From Grace" is my favourite of the songs. It has the most fun headbanging rythm, but it's so meaningful and beautiful at the same time. Buy This Album!!

How does this not have any reviews? A great comeback album by stevie. I have all her albums and I think this one probably gets the most play. If this is her final solo album she went out on top.

I think that people love Stevie for all sorts of the music she makes. This album pleases all of them! Too Far from Texas is one that I keep playing over a decade later! Even the least favorite are good!

Stevie is not afraid of experimenting. This album is rock but with a slight techno edge. Very well produced. Rock On Stevie!

i was just at her concert and my favorite song from childhood was too far from texas. and she didn't even sing it. i guess it wasn't that popular but i just remember always putting on that song while in the car with my mom. upset she didn't play it

For anyone who loves Fleetwood Mac and/or Stevie Nicks, this collection is a must have. I bought and devoured this when it first came out and it still remains as one of my favorite albums. Her voice sounds stronger and more beautiful than ever........ Buy it...you will not be disappointed !!

This is my favorite Stevie solo album. She is at her best! The songs are more to liking of the fans of the Fleetwood Mac Stevie, and not as "artsy" as some of her other solo releases. Fresh, definately not Mac-ish, although you can hear some Mac and Buckingham influence on some tracks. I think she gets a little more folk-ish and I love it! Very easy to listen and relax to.

Trouble In Shangri-La is great because it is better than her last two studio albums. Stevie has great producers again on this one and the album really shines. The album is really good as a whole, so buy the whole thing. The first 5 tracks are very strong. The middle tracks are strong too, but take you in a different direction, which I love. The final 2 tracks are both very powerful but in opposite ways. It is so great that Stevie made this amazing album! Her "masterpiece" as she calls it. Best tracks: Trouble In Shangri-La, Candlebright, Planets of The Universe, Fall From Grace, Love Is

Trouble in Shangri La is mesmerizing. The entire album is complex without overdoing it. Stevie's voice has never sounded better, and there are no filler songs. Each song in this album could be a hit single. Well done.

Like the other reviewer here, I cannot understand why this superb collection hasn't hundreds of reviews (at least). At any rate... Ms. Nicks is at the top of her game here. There isn't one track that doesn't have merit, and most are just luscious with simple melodies and intensely honest and wryly written lyrics. Quite possibly, the album art is this legendary artist's finest.
