They should have included all the songs from the musical not some random one that they sang during the drama part of the show :(

Agreeing with the first comment. Katharine's cover of "Run" by Snow Patrol was flawless and beautiful. I was mesmorized by it on the show, and I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'RE NOT SELLING IT ON ITUNES. They seriously need to sell it. Otherwise, I love Smash music forever and always. I love Karen, but guys, Ivy is better for Marilyn.

I am a little behind as I just watched the First Season of Smash on Box Set. I was hooked from the very first show. I think the Songs created are just Amazing and they capture you to the point were you want to relisten over and over on some. A Great Job done here.

Hello Smash executives, seriously, where is the cover of Run by Katharine McPhee?? Is there anyone even reading the comments on here? Everyone is waiting for it, duh. Do we need to paint a picture here? Do you need a cost-benefit analysis to sell it on iTunes? Making millions is not your thing? Ugh, I don't even understand why we need to spell it out for you. Like this comments if you too would like to be ble to download RUN.

"Who you are" is my favorite.

a lot of my favorites from the musical are missing! "wolf", "white baby grand", and the song at the very end of the show...something good? I'm very disapointed that they weren't included.

Love the show and the songs! But where is "I never met a Wolf..."?! And I still don't understand why Leslie Odom couldn't sing the entire "Stand" number?! I mean I love Kat, but his voice is beautiful and i was bummed that he sang so little when she gets to sing every episode. And I could listen to Megan Hilty and Will Chase ALL day!!

The BEST song of the season Run left out why? also leaving out Don't Forget Me, huge blunder. I can't understand how these two songs are not on the realseas. Could have been five stars, missing RUN and Don't Forget Me, big let down, and drops it to three stars for me!

Think the music from the show was great I bought the album and I can't stop listening to it I think the show is wonderful and I am hooked

Why are "Run" and "Cheers (Drink to that)" not on here? By far two of the best songs performed during the season. But, this album is good. I love that they put "Shake It Out" and "Stand" on here. Seriously though, this soundtrack needs to add these missing songs. C'mon NBC.

I decided to give this a three star rating since this album is good but it could just be SO much better! I'm a little annoyed with whoever put this album together because they chose a lot of the weaker songs from the show to put on it. I think it's a kind of marketing plug or something to get people to spend more money by having to buy the other songs separately, I don't know... Anyway, like I said this album is good but is seriously lacking. It has some goodies here and there, but most of it's songs are either on the bottom of the spectrum or somewhere in the middle. For example, the weakest of the bunch, in my opinion seems to be...Touch Me, Beautiful, Haven't Met You Yet, Mr.& Mrs. Smith, and History is Made at Night The songs that are in the middle are...Stand, Shake it Out, Brighter Than the Sun, and maybe 20th Century Fox Mambo. Personally, I think Megan Hilty takes this entire album. She is the album. I may be biased because I'm Team Ivy all the way but all of the songs that are stellar, ninety percent of the time, are her solos. Let's Be Bad is the best song on this album other than Let Me Be Your Star, in my opinion. I love Kat's song's too, but they cut out all of her good ones, like her cover of Red Neck Woman from the beginning of the season. The best songs on this album are all of Hilty's, and they aren't even the best of the best. Which leads me to the songs I wish they had included on this recording. I Never Met a Wolf Who Didn't Love to Howl, Red Neck Woman, The Higher You Get the Farther the Fall, and I'm Going Down...I'm sure there's others but those are the ones I was really dissapointed about not making the album. Overall, it's a good buy, I guess. Personally, I'd just buy the songs you love separetly instead of getting the whole CD, I'd burn them all on your own mix and I think you'll enjoy it a lot more than this.

The only two episodes Ive seen are the ones with Nick Jonas in them but it was a good show! Nick's cover of "Haven't Met You Yet" was amazing!!!!!

There is one very big problem with this album. It does NOT include all the original songs written for Bobmshell aka Marrylin the Musical. If it had that I would buy it!

The song “20th Century Fox Mambo” is all about movie studios and their favorite dances. Paramount: Ooh-la-la! WB: Cha-cha-cha MGM: Waltz 20th Century Fox (my favorite movie studio of all time): Mambo Hmm, what would Disney’s dance be? Jazz? Ballet? Wow the version of "Stand" was just amazing! Donnie McClurkin's original was great and this is a fresh new rendition. Katherine McPhee is just a phenomenal singer and a great actress. Really good show.

A bit upset at the soundtrack song selection. There are amazing original songs so I don't understand why they put so many covers on it..

Megan Hilty is a great singer, but she can't sing regular music...her voice works better when on broadway or a musical..but her version of Who You Are is terrible....the only person who can sing that is Jessie J(The writer/singer of the song). Katherine's voice is beautiful and works whether on broadway or singing an adele song...Two different voices, two different sounds....but they both are really unique!!!!:) Megan does great at singing Upside down by Mary J Blige....But I can't say the same for the speed up songs that she tries very hard to sing...and it shows. And Nick Jonas is always great!!!!! ;):p

WHERES BREAKAWAY?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Honestly in realiity how stupid is it to have the bowling song that didn't really have anything to do with the show, and not have breakaway?!? That's a pretty um strong moment I guess in there. Seriously people release breakaway!!!

These two gals have incomparable voices. I prefer Megan Hilty, personally, but they are both so talented. Where have they been hiding Hilty??!! The song, as as most of the SMASH songs, is phenomenal. The songwriters are pure genius. Now WHEN is SMASH coming to Broadway......Ruth Eckhert, etc???!!! I could listen all day. THE ENTIRE ALBUM IS OUTRAGEOUS!!

This is my favorite TV show - great characters, script, choreography, and stars. Melodies and lyrics good enough for the stage - no doubt. But here on iTunes, where are "Pastime" and "Never Met a Wolf"?? Both great numbers that should be on the album. The pop covers mean nothing to me. BRAVO to NBC and Smash - can't wait for Season 2!

I love brodway personaly so of course this is my favorite show.

I love the song "touch me" it has a good beat the lyrics match the tune and Katharine has beautiful voice but so does Megan, I'm not team anyone they both have great voices but I can't choose. "Touch me" and "lets be bad" are both my favorite songs and the show brilliant.

I really like the covers but the Bombshell songs are just amazing especially "Let Me Be Your Star" and "Don't Forget Me" which makes cry every time. Buy this album, you won't regret it.

But can iTunes create an EP of the five songs that were added to the deluxe version that was sold in Target only? Please!!! I mean lets be real, who buys cd's nowadays?! 😉

I love Smash!! This show is great and it is truly showing how incredible Katharine McPhee is but WHY is "Run" not on the album? "Shake it Out" is, and that was another incredible cover but seriously, you need to put "Run" on there as well! Please, please, please...add this song....
